Service bulletins for the 2023 Ford F-650
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

| SSM 52476 | 2024-05-03. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT. All accessory stick-on keyless entry keypads come with a wallet card containing the master code. If the accessory keypad was factory installed, this card will be placed in the glove box and should be handed to the vehicles owner during initial delivery. Unlike the integrated (wired) factory keypad, the accessory keypad master code cannot be retrieved from the vehicle using a diagnostic scan tool. If the wallet card for an accessory keypad is lost, follow these steps to recover the code. Dealer Key Code access is granted through the Dealer Program Enrollment System (DPES); dealership management can authorize users. The authorized user must go to FMCDealer.com > Parts and Service > Parts Product Line Information > Keys/Entry Devices > Aftermarket Keyless Entry Keypad Code Access. Follow the instructions on the screen to obtain the master code for the accessory keypad. |

| SSM 51748 | 2023-06-30. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; EQUIPMENT; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:WIRING. Some 2023 F-Super Duty vehicles equipped with a wireless charging pad may exhibit an excessive buzzing noise from the WACM cooling fan. This may be due to the wiring harness or electrical tape contacting the cooling fan. Remove the WACM and inspect for contact between the wiring harness and the WACM cooling fan. Refer to Workshop Manual, Section 414-06. If contact is found, reroute the wiring harness away from the WACM cooling fan to eliminate the noise. Use the Report a Vehicle Concern link at the bottom of OASIS to submit a report with photos attached (if possible) if contact is found between the wiring harness and the fan. |
| SSM 51743 | 2023-06-28. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT:ELECTRICAL:INFOTAINMENT. Some 2023 F-Super Duty vehicles equipped with a 12.3 inch IPC display may experience a blank IPC screen. Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) B108E may also be present. This may be due to a faulted graphics interface processor (GIP) in the IPC module. If a vehicle exhibits this condition, use the Ford Diagnostic and Repair System (FDRS) to determine if the GIP is communicating. To confirm GIP communication, start a session with the vehicle using FDRS. From the Vehicle Info tab, select IPC. Under Module Details, if device identification (DID) F120 indicates Null, the GIP is faulted, and the IPC module (base part number: 10849) requires replacement. Do not replace the IPC display for this condition. For claiming, use causal part 10849 and M-time. |

| SSM 50974 | 2022-08-02. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:EXHAUST SYSTEM:EMISSION CONTROL; EQUIPMENT; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:SOFTWARE. Some 2020-2022 Escape/Corsair/F-53 Motorhome/F-59 Commercial Stripped Chassis, 2021-2023 F-650/F-750/E-Series, and 2021-2022 Bronco Sport vehicles may exhibit a communication fault with emissions inspection equipment. This may be due to the software in the gateway module (GWM). To correct this condition, reprogram the GWM to latest software level using the appropriate Ford diagnostic scan tool. Use causal part 14F642 and applicable labor times from Section 10 of the Service Labor Time Standards (SLTS) Manual. |
| SSM 50636 | 2022-03-29. Service bulletin. POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION:CONTROL MODULE:SOFTWARE; ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING; EQUIPMENT. 2011-2022 F-Super Duty and 2016-2023 F-650/F-750 vehicles equipped with a 6.7L engine may exhibit an elevated idle condition. During prolonged idle time, vehicles may experience this elevated idle to reduce unburned hydrocarbons from the SCR. The powertrain control module estimates hydrocarbon levels in the SCR and may increase idle speed to remove them. Idle speed will be increased to 1000 RPM for ambient temperatures near 26°C (80°F) and may increase to 1200 RPM at -40 °C (-40°F). Vehicles may exhibit exhaust smoke and diesel exhaust fluid smell during elevated idle condition. Exhaust smoke and smell condition will not affect reliability or durability of the engine. Power take-off (PTO) use and idle set point control will disable elevated speed. It is required that the operator monitor the vehicle and adhere to any Exhaust Filter warning messages. |
