Service bulletins for the 2023 Ford F-650

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

SSM 520992023-12-01. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM: INSTRUMENT CLUSTER/PANEL. Some 2023 F-Super Duty chassis cab vehicles equipped with a 6.7L engine may exhibit an engine coolant temperature gauge reading at the high end of the normal range while towing in high ambient temperatures with no diagnostic trouble codes (DTC) or warning messages present in the instrument panel cluster (IPC). This may be due to the software in the IPC. To correct the condition, reprogram the IPC using the latest software level of the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS) diagnostic scan tool. For claiming, use causal part 10849 and applicable labor operations in Section 10 of the Service Labor Time Standards (SLTS) Manual.
SSM 516932023-06-13. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM: INSTRUMENT CLUSTER/PANEL. Some 2023 F-Super Duty vehicles do not have a compass displayed in the instrument panel cluster (IPC). Software will update automatically on vehicles with connected vehicle features enabled. Monitor OASIS for additional information.
