Service bulletins for the 2023 Ford F-650
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

| SSM 52524 | 2024-05-22. Service bulletin. STEERING. Some 2023-2024 F-Super Duty vehicles built on 22-May-2023 and through 15-Dec-2023 may require repairs of the power steering system for various reasons. If repairing a power steering fluid leak at or near the power steering fluid cooler, a worm clamp (part number 376240-S100) can be used adjacent to the factory clamp in lieu of steering hose replacement for any power steering hoses affected by the repair. |

| SSM 52477 | 2024-05-03. Service bulletin. STEERING. Some 2023-2024 F-Super Duty vehicles may exhibit various diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) related to the steering angle sensor. Prior to any diagnosis, determine if the vehicle is equipped with an electronic steering actuator (ESA), also referred to as the power steering control module (PSCM), so appropriate pinpoint tests are followed. The ESA is located on the steering shaft and can be seen through the left fender opening or under the hood near the driver's side frame rail. Refer to the Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 211-02 for images as needed. For vehicles equipped with an ESA, the steering angle sensor is integrated into the ESA. For vehicles not equipped with ESA, the steering angle sensor is integrated into the steering column control module, behind the clockspring. The pinpoint tests for the steering angle sensor in the WSM will specify what test or steps to follow based on presence of ESA. Failure to follow the proper pinpoint test may lead to improper diagnosis and repair. |
| SSM 52188 | 2024-01-24. Service bulletin. STEERING. 2024 F-Super Duty vehicles are equipped with XL-22 (WSS-M2C184-A1) high temperature power steering fluid that looks like clear hydraulic fluid. This fluid is an improvement in high temperature and thermal oxidative stability compared to Mercon LV. This power steering fluid is also compatible and highly recommended to use when filling or topping off power steering systems of all 2012-2023 F-Super Duty vehicles originally equipped with Mercon LV. |
| SSM 52105 | 2023-12-11. Service bulletin. STEERING:STEERING CONTROL MODULE. Some 2023 F-Super Duty vehicles may exhibit pre-collision assist, hill start assist, Advance Trac, and/or blind spot/cross traffic fault messages with diagnostic trouble code (DTC) C1B00:62 stored in the power steering control module (PSCM). This may be due to the software in the PSCM. To correct the condition, reprogram the PSCM using the latest software level of the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS) diagnostic scan tool. For claiming, use causal part 3G568 and applicable labor operations in Section 10 of the Service Labor Time Standards (SLTS) Manual. |
| 23B55 | 2023-10-03. Service bulletin. STEERING. Certain 2023 Model Year Super Duty Vehicles - Perform Vehicle Alignment |
