Service bulletins for the 2021 Ford Bronco
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

| TSB 23-2019 | 2023-06-13. Service bulletin. POWER TRAIN; POWER TRAIN:MANUAL TRANSMISSION:INTERNAL:GEARS. Some 2021-2023 Bronco vehicles equipped with a MT88 manual transmission may experience a rotational scraping noise while the transmission is in neutral, 1st or 2nd gear with the clutch pedal released and may be more noticeable in ambient temps below 10°C (50°F) and after a cold soak. This noise may diminish as the transmission warms up. This may be due to the 5th and 6th gear synchronizer rings. To correct the condition, follow the Service Procedure to replace the 5th and 6th gear synchronizer rings. |

| SSM 49928 | 2021-08-02. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; POWER TRAIN:MANUAL TRANSMISSION:INTERNAL:DOGS/SYNCHROS. Some 2021 Mustang Mach-E, F-150, Edge/Nautilus or Bronco vehicles equipped with SYNC 4 may have a customer symptom of the SYNC voice commands being activated without pushing the steering wheel switch. This may be due to the feature called Wake Word within SYNC 4. This feature allows the driver to activate the SYNC 4 system without pushing the steering wheel switch. Under the touchscreen Settings > Voice Settings the preferred Wake Word can be changed. The feature can also be disabled if the customer does not want the SYNC voice commands being activated without touching the steering wheel switch. This feature is not a defect. Do not submit a claim for this condition. |
