Service bulletins for the 2021 Ford Bronco
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

| TSB 23-2162 | 2023-06-16. Service bulletin. PARKING BRAKE; EQUIPMENT; EQUIPMENT ADAPTIVE/MOBILITY:VEHICLE CONTROLS:STEERING; PARKING BRAKE:ELECTRICAL:SWITCH. Some 2021-2022 Bronco vehicles built on or before 18-Sept-2022 may exhibit a broken parking brake switch. The original parking brake switch design is no longer available. For vehicles within this build date that require parking brake switch replacement, follow the Service Procedure to install a steering column opening cover which will come with a new and improved parking brake switch design. |

| TSB 22-2353 | 2022-09-23. Service bulletin. PARKING BRAKE. Some 2021-2022 Bronco vehicles equipped with a 2.7L or 3.0L EcoBoost engine may exhibit multiple error messages displayed in the IPC followed by automatic engagement of the parking brake immediately after starting the vehicle with the doors removed or after sitting in the vehicle for an extended period of time with the vehicle off. This may be due to the software within the anti-lock brake (ABS) module. To correct the condition, follow the Service Procedure to reprogram the ABS module. |
| TSB 22-2094 | 2022-03-22. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT; PARKING BRAKE:ELECTRICAL. Some 2021-2022 Bronco vehicles equipped with parking aid sensors may exhibit a park aid system that does not remain deactivated after the vehicle has been off for more than 5 minutes. The vehicle may exhibit false alerts from the parking aid warning system which may cause it to activate while driving or towing or due to the presence of a winch. This may be due to the software within the instrument panel cluster (IPC). To correct the condition, follow the Service Procedure and update the IPC software. |
| SSM 49920 | 2021-08-02. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; PARKING BRAKE:ELECTRICAL; EQUIPMENT. Some 2021 Bronco vehicles equipped with front and rear parking aid sensors may set diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) for all 8 parking aid sensors/circuits if 2 or more rear parking aid sensors/circuits have a concern. This is due to the software within the parking aid module (PAM), and module replacement will not resolve this condition. If the PAM sets DTCs for all 8 parking aid sensors/circuits, diagnose the rear parking aid sensor and circuit DTCs first. Reference Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 413-13A for parking aid diagnostic information. Ford is currently working on a software update that is expected to be available August 2021. The customer can continue to drive the vehicle and schedule a follow-up appointment for October, when software is expected to be available. Follow up with the customer to confirm the appointment once OASIS confirms software availability. |
