| TSB 22-2043 | 2022-02-23. Service bulletin. POWER TRAIN. Some 2015-2021 Transit vehicles equipped with rear wheel drive (RWD), single rear wheel only, and a U-joint at the transmission flange and rear driveshaft may experience a boom/hum/moan noise or vibration from the rear while driving. This noise or vibration is most prevalent at highway speeds: 112-121 km/h (70-75 mph) for 4.10 axle ratio, 121-128 km/h (75-80 mph) for 3.73 axle ratio, 136-145 km/h (85-90 mph) for 3.31 axle ratio. The noise or vibration may also be present to a lesser degree at roughly half of those speeds. This may be due to a 2nd order driveline frequency transmitted through the rear driveshaft, rear axle and into the body through the leaf springs. To correct the condition, follow the Service Procedure to install a driveshaft torsional damper. |
| TSB 22-2022 | 2022-02-16. Service bulletin. STEERING. Some 2015-2019 Transit vehicles may exhibit uneven steering effort. This may be due to the steering column slider length. To correct the condition, follow the Service Procedure to adjust the steering column slider length. |

Review of repair data supports that P206C is often the result of incorrect diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) concentration. Per Powertrain Control/Emissions Diagnosis (PC/ED) Pinpoint Test (PPT) RJ, a DEF concentration reading below 28% will set P206C and cause vehicle derate. If low concentration is suspected, drain fluid and replace with known good DEF before replacing any parts. Low concentration of DEF is not a warrantable condition. |
| 21M03 | 2021-12-07. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. Certain 2015-2019 Model Year Transit Vehicles with a 3.2L Diesel Engine EGR Cooler Replacement n some of the affected vehicles, the EGR cooler may crack and allow coolant to enter the combustion chamber when EGR is enabled. A cracked EGR cooler may cause malfunction indicator light (MIL) illumination, reduced power, engine overheating, white smoke from the exhaust, and/or coolant level low without an exterior leak. |
| TSB 21-2408 | 2021-12-01. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT ADAPTIVE/MOBILITY; ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING; EQUIPMENT. Some 2015-2019 Transit vehicles equipped with a 3.7L engine and block heater may exhibit a repeat coolant leak from a deteriorated O-ring and/or intake manifold thermostat housing. This may be due to the block heater in the thermostat housing. To correct the condition, install a block heater service kit in the engine block. |
| SSM 50236 | 2021-11-02. Service bulletin. SEAT BELTS. Some 2015-2021 Transit vehicles may exhibit front seat safety belts that do not extend or retract properly or may exhibit an abnormal noise. Verify if the vehicle has been modified, in particular if a bulkhead partition between the front seats and cargo area has been added to the vehicle. Fasteners or holes in the lower b-pillar are indicators that the seat belt retractor mechanism could have been compromised. If diagnostics lead to retractor replacement, inspect for drill or screw holes in the retractor housing. Damage to the seat belt retractor caused by a vehicle modifier is not warrantable. |
| TSB 21-2353 | 2021-11-02. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT; SEATS; EQUIPMENT:OTHER:OWNERS/SERVICE/OTHER MANUAL. Some 2019-2021 Transit vehicles built on or before 11-Feb-2021 may experience a front seat cushion sagging. This may be due to a broken seat suspension mat.
