Service bulletins for the 2019 Ford Transit
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

Some vehicles equipped with power folding mirrors may exhibit power folding mirrors that are inoperative or exhibit a clicking sound. This may be due to the mirrors being manually folded in, during transportation, going through a car wash, bumped in a parking lot, or found during pre-delivery inspection (PDI). Prior to the replacement of any components, attempt to synchronize the mirrors by following the Power Mirrors Synchronization procedure. Refer to Workshop Manual (WSM) Section 501-09 Rear View Mirrors - General Procedures - Power Mirrors Synchronization. |

| SSM 47964 | 2019-06-06. Service bulletin. VISIBILITY; VISIBILITY:REARVIEW MIRRORS/DEVICES:EXTERIOR. Some 2019 Transit vehicles equipped with power folding mirrors may exhibit the mirror housing vibrating while driving, moving freely, or not moving to the desired position. This may be due to the mirrors being inadvertently folded (manually) during transportation, going through a car wash, being bumped in a parking lot or found during pre-delivery inspection (PDI). Refer the operator to the Loose Mirror detail found in the Windows and Mirrors section of the Owner's Manual to reset the power-fold feature and correct the condition. Transit vehicles equipped with power folding mirrors contain a symbol representing the folding motion, on the mirror switch bezel. |
