Service bulletins for the 2023 Ford F-150

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

SSM 523332024-03-20. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:BODY CONTROL MODULE/BCM. Many body control module C (BCMC) warranty return parts are coming back with no trouble found. To verify that the BCMC is at fault prior to replacing, perform the following. First, disconnect the battery then check all BCMC connectors for terminal pushout, pin damage, spread terminals, and corrosion. Refer to Workshop Manual Section 100-00 Wire Terminal Inspection and Replacement. If none found, reconnect the BCMC and battery terminals then recheck functionality. If concern still exists, proceed with BCMC replacement.
SSM 522132024-01-30. Service bulletin. UNKNOWN OR OTHER; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:BODY CONTROL MODULE:SOFTWARE. Some 2022-2023 F-150 and 2023 F-Super Duty vehicles equipped with a direct current/alternating current converter module A (DCACA) inverter (minor feature code HUKAK) may exhibit a Please Contact Authorized Dealer For Service message in the center display screen with DTC P0A93:96 stored in the DCACA. This may be due to the software level of the DCACA and has no effect on vehicle operation. To confirm a vehicle is built with a certain minor feature code, review the build information by double-clicking the vehicle identification number (VIN) in the upper left corner in the Professional Technician System (PTS). To correct this condition, reprogram the DCACA to the latest software level using the latest version of the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS) scan tool. For claiming, use causal part 19G317 and applicable labor operations in Section 10 of the Service Labor Time Standards (SLTS) Manual.
23H072023-12-05. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:BODY CONTROL MODULE/BCM. Certain 2021-2023 Model Year F150, 2022 Model Year F53/F59 Stripped Chassis, 2022-2023 Model Year F650/F750, 2023 Model Year Ranger, 2024 Model Year Econoline - Body Control Module (BCM) Replacement
TSB 23-22402023-08-10. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:BODY CONTROL MODULE/BCM; UNKNOWN OR OTHER. Some 2021-2023 F-150 vehicles may exhibit a no crank/no start with a battery draw and air conditioning (A/C) clutch engaged at all times. This may be due to an opened diode in the A/C clutch field coil damaging the output driver in the body control module C (BCMC). To correct the condition, follow the Service Procedure to replace the BCMC and A/C clutch field coil assembly.
