Service bulletins for the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

553 on file from NHTSA, as of 2026-10-19.

90037562022-10-24. Service bulletin. BACK OVER PREVENTION; AIR BAGS; STEERING; PARKING BRAKE; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Rain light sensor Rain sense wipers do not operate: 1. Visual Inspection--> Check if the sensor is visually OK. (all the pins are OK) Check that the Connector is NOT loose (Sensor must get a voltage from 9V to 16V) 2. Functional Checks Rain--> Steering column switch is in auto mode (sensor is active) it is necessary to splash water on the sensitive surface of the sensor to trigger wipes. check the same for different sensitivities When the rain sensitivity is increased (for example from level 0 to level 1), as an acknowledgement a single wipe is seen. (This is not a phantom wipe) and this single wipe is not seen when the rain sensitivity is decreased (from higher level to lower level) Light--> Steering column switch is in auto mode (sensor is active) block the light coming on the sensor from outside of the vehicle (use a opaque object), the head lamps should be activated 3. If the sensor seems functional, it is ideal to remove the silicon gel pad from the sensor, replace it with the new silicon gel pad instead of replacing the whole sensor. When servicing the LRSM please replace the silicon gel pad with a new silicon gel pad (PN 68224945AA) instead of replacing the whole sensor.
90038252022-09-15. Service bulletin. SEATS; VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; AIR BAGS; BACK OVER PREVENTION. LATCH, Hood For the following concerns, please verify secondary plunger switch before replacing hood latch with primary switch. Please refer to service information for complete diagnostics of the secondary plunger switch which is located in the left front under hood on RU, MP, and WK/WD and left rear under hood on KL. 1) Electronic Stop Start Message on Cluster or DTC P152F without hood ajar illuminated. 2) KL Hood ajar light is on or unlatched hood due to high closing effort. (KL hood may have a higher closing effort to latch the hood as rubber bumper interference is set purposely high to prevent hood flutter at highway speeds) If stop start message or DTC P152F is present on vehicles without a hood ajar light illuminated, the issue is not related to the primary hood latch switch.
08-107-172022-08-08. Service bulletin. POWER TRAIN; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; EXTERIOR LIGHTING; AIR BAGS; ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. Loose High Voltage Cable at the Power Inverter Module (PIM) Terminal This bulletin involves inspecting the High Voltage Interlock Loop (HVIL) connector and potentially installing a Power Inverter Module (PIM) kit. The customer may describe a loss of vehicle propulsion or a Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) illuminated with the following Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs):P0C77-00 - HV Battery System Precharge Time Too Short. P0C76-00 - Hybrid EV System Discharge Time Too Long - PIM. P0AA4-00 - Hybrid Battery Negative Contactor Circuit Stuck Closed. P0A79-00 - Drive Motor B Inverter Performance. P1AEF-00 - MCPB High Voltage Battery System Voltage High. P0AFA-00 - Hybrid-EV Battery System Voltage Low. P0EED-00 - Hybrid-EV Battery System Discharge Circuit Performance.
18-002-19 REV A2019-07-15. Service bulletin. BACK OVER PREVENTION; AIR BAGS; EXTERIOR LIGHTING; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE. Flash: Powertrain Control Module (PCM) Updates This bulletin involves reprogramming the PCM with the latest available software. A customer or technicians may be unable to read data information from the OBDII connector when using a generic scan tool (APAC).Customers may experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination. Upon further investigation, a technician may find the following DTCs have been set (NAFTA):U0418 - Implausible Data Received From Brake System Control Module 1. U0432 - Invalid Data Received From Multi-Axis Acceleration Sensor Module. P06EF - Engine Restart Performance. P06E9 - Engine Starter Performance. P00FD - Battery -B- State Of Charge Performance. P0369 - Camshaft Position Sensor Intermittent - Bank 1 Sensor 2. P0390 - Camshaft Position Sensor Circuit - Bank 2 Sensor 2. P0394 - Camshaft Position Sensor Intermittent - Bank 2 Sensor 2. The technician may also find the following DTC stored in the Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) Module memory (NAFTA):The following DTC is caused by a calibration in the PCM that is in conflict with the ABS Module programming.
