Some vehicles may exhibit that the tilt switch knob on the power seat does not return to its original position after operating it and/or a stick-slip noise may occur when operating the power seat tilt switch. This may be caused by the frictional resistance of the tilt switch knob increasing in a low-temperature environment. To eliminate this concern, a solid film lubricant has been applied to the switch knob to reduce the friction.
09-007-242024-03-05. Service bulletin. STRUCTURE. Some customers may complain about an unusual noise (rattling or cracking noise) coming from the front right side of the vehicle when driving over bumpy roads. This may be caused by the washer tank fixing pin (1), which is inserted to the body, and the hole where the pin is inserted colliding with each other when the vehicle is moving over bumps. To eliminate this concern, a new protector is attached to the washer tank.
07-002-242024-03-05. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; UNKNOWN OR OTHER. Some customers may experience that the air conditioning system stops working. Upon inspection, DTC B1082:19 [DASH_ESU] (Air mix actuator (RH) circuit malfunction) is stored in memory. DTC B1082:19 is stored as a past malfunction and continues in one drive cycle, then returns normal at the next drive cycle. Due to the electrical noise caused when the air mix actuator is driven too quickly, a false malfunction may be detected. To eliminate this concern, the control software of the dash-electrical supply unit has been modified.
03-001-242024-03-05. Service bulletin. SUSPENSION. Some vehicles may experience differential oil leaking from the oil seal (RH side) at the front differential. SA-003-242024-02-02. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT; VISIBILITY:DEFROSTER/DEFOGGER/HVAC SYSTEM. Some customers with a PHEV CX-90 may report a warning light or a reported issue of A/C malfunction. Upon inspection, the technician will discover that the vehicle has the P0531 diagnostic trouble code set.
SA-002-242024-02-02. Service bulletin. POWER TRAIN. Due to a manufacturing change, the CX-90 transmission has undergone a transmission part design change when replacing the transmission assembly. Old design originally required a coolant line running to the top of the bell housing, the new design has omitted the hole and need for the coolant line. The new/superseded design can be used in place of the old/original design and the coolant hose is no longer needed to be used.
PF-24-012024-02-02. Service bulletin. POWER TRAIN. Due to a manufacturing change, the CX-90 transmission has undergone a transmission part design change when replacing the transmission assembly. The new/superseded design can be used in place of the old/original design as the coolant hose (D-Code 21-5LX) is no longer needed to be used.
15-001-242024-02-01. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT ADAPTIVE/MOBILITY; STEERING; LANE DEPARTURE; UNKNOWN OR OTHER. Some vehicles may exhibit one or both of following, making the customer uncomfortable with the operation; 1. Sometimes the steering assist feeling by the Emergency Lane Keeping may be stronger than expected while driving at 37 mph 60 km/h) (or faster. 2.The Smart Brake Support may operate unexpectedly when parking in reverse under certain conditions, mainly while driving at 1.2 mph ( 2 km/h) to 9.3 mph (15 km/h) on flat ground in reverse and vehicle(s) etc. are present around the parking space. 3. While driving on a curved road condition with the MRCC activated, a vehicle in the right or left lane may be detected as an ahead vehicle and the MRCC unexpectedly reduces vehicle speed. This is caused by: 1. There was some room to refine the engineering for a better steering feel. 2.Too sensitive detection of vehicles or objects while in reverse and backing up. To eliminate this concern, the control software of the Vehicle Control Module (VCM) has been modified.
09-005-242024-02-01. Service bulletin. VISIBILITY; UNKNOWN OR OTHER; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Some customers may experience that the passenger-side outer door mirror glass tilts down when unlocking and opening the driver's door. This is caused by a door-electrical supply unit malfunction due to changes in the vehicle power conditions. Alternatively, after the passenger-side door mirror tilts down in response to reversing, it does not return to its original position even when the reverse is disengaged. To eliminate this concern, the control software of the door-electrical supply unit (passenger's side) has been modified.
