| PF-24-10 | 2024-11-04. Other. STRUCTURE:BODY. The right-side hood strut features a two-step mechanism for opening and closing. The first step is for general, the second step is for “service mode”. When you open the hood, after completing the hood in service mode, the stay damper might rattle because it loses internal pressure support to the hoodfender- strut system. This is normal operation and not a sign of any malfunction, no parts should be replaced. |
| SA-069-24 | 2024-11-04. Service bulletin. STRUCTURE:BODY. Some vehicles may exhibit poor hands-free liftgate operation after a Mazda genuine trailer tow hitch accessory installation. IMPORTANT: When a Mazda genuine trailer tow hitch is installed on a CX-90 equipped with hands-free liftgate function, the sensing area is reduced due to the mechanical structure of the hitch. The hands-free liftgate’s optimal sensing area below the rear bumper is shown in green boxes in the image below. Since the left side of the hitch has a 7-pin connector socket, the right side is the most ideal for hands-free operation. For safety, be extra careful performing the kicking motion around the hitch. |
| 09-046-24 | 2024-11-03. Service bulletin. STRUCTURE:BODY. Some vehicles may experience stains appearing on the hood, roof and/or trunk of the vehicle. This concern is most likely to be found in a cold weather areas just after the RAPGARD is removed at PDI. This may be caused by moisture which has been trapped and condensed between the paint and the RAPGARD. These types of stains can be removed with a heat gun or an infrared drier. If you encounter this concern during PDI, use a heat gun or an infrared drier to apply heat to the affected area to remove the stain(s). |
| 09-045-24 | 2024-11-03. Service bulletin. STRUCTURE:BODY. Some vehicles may exhibit a rattle noise from the rear end of the rear glass panel on the panorama sunroof. This may be caused by body vibration while driving and slight gaps (1) between the fastener mounting to the headliner and the sunroof frame. To eliminate this concern, the fastener has been modified to restrain the rattling. NOTE: For 2024 CX-90 with a rattle noise in the center of the sunroof (the front glass panel), see TSB 09-010/24 - RATTLE NOISE FROM CENTER OF PANORAMA SUNROOF. |
| 09-010-24a | 2024-11-03. Service bulletin. STRUCTURE:BODY. Some vehicles may exhibit a rattle noise from the panorama sunroof. This may be caused by: Body vibration while driving and/or outside-temperature changes creating slight gaps between the plastic grommets and the roof reinforcement cover during use. • A slight gap between the drip rail and the roof reinforcement, causing interference. • To eliminate this concern, the shape of the panorama sunroof unit will be modified. NOTE: If the rattle noise is from rear end of the sunroof (the rear glass panel), refer to TSB 09-045/24 - RATTLE NOISE FROM REAR END OF PANORAMA SUNROOF WHILE DRIVING. This TSB is NOT applicable. Customers having this concern should have their vehicle repaired using the following repair procedure. |
| SA-069-24 | 2024-10-04. |
| SA-059-24 | 2024-09-04. Service bulletin. FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM; STRUCTURE:BODY. Some customers will report that their fuel door was stuck closed and would not open to refuel the vehicle. Follow the repair steps below unless the conditions outlined in TSB 09-019/21 - FUEL-FILLER LID PANEL IS DEFORMED for 2019-2021 Mazda3 and 2020-2021 CX-30 are present. |
| SA-058-24 | 2024-09-04. Service bulletin. STRUCTURE:BODY. Some vehicles may experience exterior trim heat damage such (melted, separating, etc.) when parked near a glass building or Low-E windows. This may be caused by the sun's reflection. |
| SA-056-24 | 2024-09-04. Service bulletin. STRUCTURE:BODY. Interior parts made of resin have antistatic coating to prevent dust from sticking on the surfaces, and depending on the conditions of use, the antistatic components may crystallize slightly, giving an appearance of white stains on the surface. To remove the stains, wipe the stained surface with a towel soaked with water mixed with a small portion of a neutral detergent. If the white stains reappear again, simply wipe them again in the same way. |
| 09-018-24a | 2024-09-04. Service bulletin. UNKNOWN OR OTHER; STRUCTURE:BODY. Some customers may complain that the driver’s side outer mirror glass vibrates when driving at high speeds at approximately 60 mph (100 km/hour ) or more on bumpy roads such as road joints, coarse-grained paved roads or rough roads. This is caused by insufficient hardness of the adhesive tape between the outer mirror glass holder and the mirror glass. To eliminate this concern, the material of the adhesive tape between the outer mirror glass holder and the mirror glass has been improved and the tape location has been modified. |
| SA-048-24 | 2024-08-05. Service bulletin. STRUCTURE:BODY. Some customers may experience an issue where the hood cannot be opened using the release cable. To open the hood for diagnosis and repairs, follow the repair procedure below. |
| SA-045-24 | 2024-08-05. Service bulletin. STRUCTURE:BODY. Customers may report that the liftgate does not open or unlatch. This may happen after a discharged battery or after charging a dead battery. |

| 09-024-24a | 2024-07-05. Service bulletin. STRUCTURE:BODY. Some customers may experience the following concerns: The liftgate or the trunk lid will not unlock even when the vehicle is parked and the ignition is off. If the engine is running (POWER ON) or the ignition is turned to on (READY ON), it will unlock. The auto close operation of the power liftgate is not performed (The liftgate can be closed manually). To eliminate this concern, the control software of the DSC HU/CM (or the electronically controlled brake unit) has been modified. Customers |
| 09-032-24 | 2024-07-04. Service bulletin. STRUCTURE:BODY. Some customers may complain that the rear outer handle is difficult to operate or that it gets stuck when released after being pulled once. This is caused when the rear outer handle and the rear handle bracket swell up from absorbing water and the space between them is reduced, resulting in friction and resistance when returning to the rest position after the handle has been pulled. To eliminate this concern, the rear outer handle and the rear outer handle bracket has been modified to secure space between them even if the parts absorb water. |
| SA-036-24 | 2024-06-04. Other. STRUCTURE:BODY. Some customers may complain about color discrepancies (brightness differences) of the image displayed on the screen when using the 360°view monitor. As this phenomenon is not a system failure, do not make any repairs or replace any parts. Explain the cause of this occurrence to the customer as follows: The 360°view monitor is a system that provides a complete picture of the vehicle surroundings by combining the pictures captured by 4 separate cameras. These cameras are installed in the front, rear, right and left sides of the vehicle. Each camera has a color adjustment function (white balance) that operates independently from each other, which can result in color discrepancy when the combined picture is displayed on the screen. This is especially true when one of the cameras captures more green objects than the remaining cameras. |
| SA-034-24 | 2024-06-03. Other. STRUCTURE:BODY; UNKNOWN OR OTHER. This Service Alert provides additional guidance about operation and procedure of the Driver Personalization System from the start of driver recognition to the end of the driving position restoration. |

Some customers may experience a warning message for the approaching vehicle audible system (AVAS) right after the ignition is turned on (POWER ON) while a loud noise, such as a horn, occurs close to the vehicle. Upon inspection, DTC B1A03:2B [ISB_AMP] (AVAS device circuit malfunction) is stored in memory. (AVAS Malfunction, Pedestrians May Not Hear This Vehicle Approach, Drive Safely, Have the Vehicle Inspected) This may be caused by an internal initial diagnosis in the notification and warning amplifier detecting a false malfunction under this particular situation. To eliminate this concern, the control software of the notification and warning amplifier has been modified. |
| 09-012-24 | 2024-03-05. Service bulletin. LATCHES/LOCKS/LINKAGES; STRUCTURE:BODY:HATCHBACK/LIFTGATE. Some customers may complain about clicking noise coming from the liftgate latch-and-lock actuator (lock actuator) when driving on bumpy roads. This is caused by stick-slip friction between the lock actuator and the lock striker due to wear debris originating from the friction between them. To eliminate this concern, the lock striker coating has been changed to prevent coating wear. |
| 09-010-24 | 2024-03-05. Service bulletin. STRUCTURE; VISIBILITY:SUN/MOON ROOF ASSEMBLY. Some vehicles may exhibit a rattle noise from the panorama sunroof. This may be caused by: Body vibration while driving and/or outside-temperature changes creating slight gaps between the plastic grommets and the roof reinforcement cover during use. A slight gap between the drip rail and the roof reinforcement, causing interference. To eliminate this concern, the shape of the panorama sunroof unit will be modified. |
| 09-007-24 | 2024-03-05. Service bulletin. STRUCTURE. Some customers may complain about an unusual noise (rattling or cracking noise) coming from the front right side of the vehicle when driving over bumpy roads. This may be caused by the washer tank fixing pin (1), which is inserted to the body, and the hole where the pin is inserted colliding with each other when the vehicle is moving over bumps. To eliminate this concern, a new protector is attached to the washer tank. |
