Service bulletin SA-045-24
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

| SA-056-26 | 2026-09-04. Service bulletin. DESCRIPTION Some customers will report that their fuel filler lid (door) was stuck closed and would not open to refuel the vehicle. | 09-018-26 | 2026-06-02. Service bulletin. This bulletin supersedes the previously issued bulletin(s) listed below. The changes are noted in Red. 09-031/25 08/05/25 DESCRIPTION While driving on gravel or dusty roads, dust accumulates at the lower inner edge of the door garnish. When the rear door is opened, the dust may be blown up and enter the cabin, adhering to the seats and the floor. This is caused by a large gap at the lower part of the boundary between the rear door and the front door, and air containing dust and/or sand is sucked up into the gap, accumulating at the lower edge of the rear door garnish while driving. To eliminate this concern, a mass production change is under study. NOTE: In environments where passengers frequently enter and exit the vehicle under dusty conditions (e.g. dirt or gravel roads, off-road driving), a certain amount of dust will enter into the cabin, even in other types of vehicles. Therefore, this phenomenon is not limited to the causes described in this document. Customers having this concern should have their vehicle repaired using the following repair procedure. NOTE: This repair procedure is an interim countermeasure. After a mass production change is implemented, the repair procedure will be updated. Attach the protectors (urethane pads, deflectors and protectors) to both sides of the designated locations according to the following steps. |
| SA-031-26 | 2026-05-05. Service bulletin. DESCRIPTION Some vehicles may require the replacement of a damaged VIN plate or vehicle certification label. To obtain a replacement VIN plate (bulkhead-mounted and visible through the lower-left area of the windshield), contact DAG (Dealer Assistance Group) using VIN Plate Request Form available on One Mazda. To obtain a replacement vehicle certification label (located on the Bpillar or front door), contact your assigned DSM (District Service Manager) to place the order. If DSM contact information is not available, refer to the Dealer & Field Contact Directory. |
| 09-012-26 | 2026-04-02. Service bulletin. Some vehicles may exhibit an interference between the front (1) and the rear door bright window glass molding (2) due to the bright window glass molding shifting backward when opening/closing the front door. This is caused by an inappropriate position of the positioning tab on the front door glass run-channel. To eliminate this concern, double-sided tape has been added to the front door glass run-channel, and the shape of the rear end of the front door glass run-channel has been modified to prevent the bright window glass molding from shifting. Customers having this concern should have their vehicle repaired using the following repair procedure. REPAIR PROCEDURE 1. Verify the customer concern. 2. Replace the front glass run-channel(s) with a modified one(s) according to the instructions in MGSS (FRONT DOOR GLASS RUN-CHANNEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION). NOTE: Repair only the side with the issue. ATTENTION: Removing the front beltline moldings is unnecessary for this repair procedure when replacing the front door glass run-channel. 3. Verify the repair. |
| 09-010-26 | 2026-03-03. Service bulletin. Some vehicles may exhibit a clicking noise from the liftgate lock striker when driving on bumpy roads. This may be caused by stick-slip friction between the lock striker and the lock actuator due to the electrodeposition layer peeling off from the friction between them. To eliminate this concern, the lock striker coating has been changed to prevent coating wear. |
| 09-009-26 | 2026-03-03. Service bulletin. Some vehicles exhibit creaking noise from the left side power liftgate (PLG) drive unit when moving (opening/closing) the power liftgate by hand and /or automatically. The noise tends to occur during moving, particularly at the start of opening or closing. As the condition progresses, it may be accompanied by functional issues such as increased operating effort, a “hard to move” feeling, or the PLG stops partway during opening or closing. |
| 09-008-26 | 2026-03-03. Service bulletin. This bulletin supersedes the previously issued bulletin(s) listed below. The changes are noted in Red. 09-021/25 04/23/25 Some customers may complain about a creaking noise coming from the door area when driving on rough roads. This may be caused by a stick-slip occuring as plastic components of the door latch deform due to external forces applied from the striker to the latch and actuator. |
| SA-003-26 | 2026-02-03. Service bulletin. Customers may report that the liftgate does not open or unlatch (from closed or an ajar position). This may happen after a discharged battery or after charging a dead battery. |
| 09-045-25 | 2026-01-03. Service bulletin. Some customers may experience that the fuel lid and charge lid do not lock or unlock during door lock/unlock operation. This is caused by: Improper dimensional accuracy of the lid actuator lock mechanism Incomplete control logic in the R-ESU software To eliminate this concern: The mold design of the lid actuator was modified. The control software of the R-ESU was revised. |
| SA-011-25a | 2025-11-05. Service bulletin. Some customers will report that their fuel door (AKA, fuel filler door, fuel lid, and fuel-filler lid) was stuck closed and would not open to refuel the vehicle. Follow the repair steps below unless the conditions outlined in TSB 09-007/25 - FUEL-FILLER LID PANEL IS DEFORMED for 2019-2025 Mazda3 and 2020-2025 CX-30 are present. |
