Service bulletins for the 2025 Mazda CX-70
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

| SA-069-24 | 2024-10-04. Service bulletin. STRUCTURE:BODY. Some vehicles may exhibit poor hands-free liftgate operation after a Mazda genuine trailer tow hitch accessory installation. IMPORTANT: When a Mazda genuine trailer tow hitch is installed on a CX-90 equipped with hands-free liftgate function, the sensing area is reduced due to the mechanical structure of the hitch. The hands-free liftgate’s optimal sensing area below the rear bumper is shown in green boxes in the image below. Since the left side of the hitch has a 7-pin connector socket, the right side is the most ideal for hands-free operation. For safety, be extra careful performing the kicking motion around the hitch. |

| SA-066-24 | 2024-10-04. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; ENGINE. Some customers may complain that the MyMazda App Remote Engine Start function fails. | SA-061-24a | 2024-10-04. Service bulletin. VISIBILITY/WIPER. Some customers may complain about a low washer fluid level warning message even though a visual inspection of the washer fluid tank looks like it still has a fair amount of fluid in it. With the CX-90 and CX-70 introduction of the front-engine and rear-wheel-drive layout, the washer tank shape was changed from a vertical to a horizontal type. This makes it look like there is still enough liquid left if viewed from the spout when the warning light comes on. |

Some customer may experience any of the following: Multiple Warning Lights On • Infotainment center display blank • Engine no start unless the key transmitter is placed near the start button • Interior lights do not illuminate • DTC P2507:00 - PCM, PCM POWER SYSTEM: (LOW INPUT) stored. • DTC U0156:00 - PCM, CAN communication system, Communication error with CMU (Connectivity Master Unit). |

The terminal test kit enables you: To check pin fit drag of all PCM terminals used in SKYACTIV® vehicles and compare suspect terminal drag with a known good terminal. To measure the voltage/resistance avoiding any terminal damage. |
| SA-060-24 | 2024-09-04. Service bulletin. STEERING. Before judging a steering wheel as having premature wear or a defect, first clean the steering wheel as explained in the repair information. Some vehicles may have steering wheel stains caused by chemicals such as hand lotions. |

| SA-057-24 | 2024-09-04. Service bulletin. ENGINE; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; UNKNOWN OR OTHER. If you encounter any type of electrical concern (e.g, dead battery, engine no start, DTC(s) stored...), interview the customer before proceeding with normal MGSS diagnosis by asking if any aftermarket devices have been installed. Aftermarket devices may be the cause of the electrical concern. Below are a few examples of unusual electrical concerns caused by aftermarket devices. |
| SA-056-24 | 2024-09-04. Service bulletin. STRUCTURE:BODY. Interior parts made of resin have antistatic coating to prevent dust from sticking on the surfaces, and depending on the conditions of use, the antistatic components may crystallize slightly, giving an appearance of white stains on the surface. To remove the stains, wipe the stained surface with a towel soaked with water mixed with a small portion of a neutral detergent. If the white stains reappear again, simply wipe them again in the same way. |
| SA-055-24 | 2024-09-04. Service bulletin. POWER TRAIN. A New Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF-A7) is being used for some 2023, 2024 and 2025 models. ATF-A7 is an extremely low viscosity formulation with low friction to achieve best-in-class fuel economy and driving performance. For easy identification, ATF-A7 is colored Red and ATF-FZ is colored Blue. There is NO interchangeability between ATF-A7 and ATF-FZ. |

With the CX-90 and CX-70 introduction of the front-engine and rear-wheel-drive layout, the washer tank shape was changed from a vertical to a horizontal type. This makes it look like there is still enough liquid left if viewed from the spout when the warning light comes on. |

| 09-037-24 | 2024-09-04. Service bulletin. EXTERIOR LIGHTING. Some customers may complain that on rainy days, the front combination light may appear to flicker or flash when the vehicle is stopped. This is not a vehicle defect since the lights are functioning properly; but rather, it is a phenomenon that can occur due to light refraction from water running over the headlamp lens while illuminated. NOTE: Explain to the customer that the repair described in this TSB helps disperse the water running over the headlamp lens to avoid the water flow concentrating to the lens axis, but it does not eliminate the phenomenon completely. No mass production is scheduled. |
| SA-011-24b | 2024-08-05. Service bulletin. UNKNOWN OR OTHER. Mazda has developed factory recommended scheduled maintenance services that support all major vehicle systems.
