ITB17-0552018-01-29. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT. INFINITI; INTELLIGENT KEY IDENTIFICATION AND REGISTRATION TIPS This bulletin applies to vehicles equipped with Intelligent Key only. SERVICE INFORMATION When replacing or adding an Intelligent Key, it is very important to make sure the correct Intelligent Key is selected from the parts department. - A running change was made that will help identify the correct Intelligent Key. - Beginning in late 2017 and early 2018 the last five digits of the Intelligent Key part number is marked on the Intelligent Key under the mechanical key. - See page 2 for location images of this part number addition. NOTE: - A correct Intelligent Key may or may not have the last five digits of the part number as shown on page 2. - The above running change was applied as a ?help? to identify the correct Intelligent Key for a given vehicle, but the actual part number listed in the parts catalog did not change. - Make sure to use the electronic parts catalog (FAST) or equivalent to confirm the correct Intelligent Key for a given vehicle.

ITB17-0602018-01-29. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. INFINITI; INTELLIGENT KEY INITIALIZATION PROCEDURE STOPS OR WILL NOT CONTINUE SERVICE INFORMATION When the initialization procedure being performed with a new or existing Intelligent Key to an applied vehicle is interrupted (the procedure stops or will not continue), the BCM may be left in learn mode and will not function until it returns to normal mode. Under this condition, the BCM and Intelligent Key(s) will not function normally. If this condition occurs, the BCM must be returned to normal mode and the initialization procedure started over. To get back to the beginning of the Initialization procedure, use one of the following procedures: - Successfully perform the initialization procedure using one of the original Intelligent Keys twice consecutively. - Each successful initialization will follow with two (2) quick tones. OR - When the initialization procedure cannot be successfully performed twice (more than two quick tones), perform the initialization procedure five (5) times using the inoperative ?failed? Intelligent Key. - Initialization does not need to be successful when performed five times. When returning to normal operating mode, the initialization procedure for all Intelligent Keys may be started again.

INFINITI; DIAGNOSIS INFORMATION FOR ABS DTC C1130 SERVICE INFORMATION When diagnosing for DTC C1130 (ENGINE SIGNAL): ECM related DTCs (P-codes) must be diagnosed, repaired, and DTCs erased first. - DTC C1130 is an ABS DTC that indicates an output signal of the ECM is not recognized. - Absent or incorrect ECM signals, that are indicated by corresponding P-codes, may trigger C1130 in the ABS control unit. - Some vehicle features that can be affected by absent or incorrect ECM signals are: - Forward Emergency Braking (FEB) - Intelligent Cruise Control (ICC) - VDC/ABS/TCS

SERVICE INFORMATION Applied vehicles equipped from the factory with a Motion Activated Liftgate should also have a Motion Activated Liftgate Sticker applied to the back door window glass. DO NOT remove this sticker during PDI, or when the vehicle is washed, or any other time the vehicle is in inventory. NOTE: - Motion activated liftgate sticker is only to be removed by the customer. - Replacement stickers can be obtained from your parts department.
ITB17-0422017-10-15. Service bulletin. SERVICE BRAKES, AIR:SUPPLY:CHECK VALVE. INFINITI; DTC P0456 CAUSED BY EVAP LEAK AT VENT CONTROL VALVE O-RING IF YOU CONFIRM The MIL is ON in an APPLIED VEHICLE with DTC P0456 (EVAP VERY SML LEAK) AND - DTC P0456 is not caused by a loose fuel fill cap (refer to ITB13-044). - An EVAP leak has been detected where the vent control valve mounts to the canister. - The vent control valve O-ring seal is determined to be the cause. ACTION 1. DO NOT REPLACE the vent control valve. 2. Replace the vent control valve O-ring seal (O-ring). - Refer to SERVICE PROCEDURE on page 2.

SEATS. 2017-2018 QX60 AND QX60 HYBRID; 2ND ROW SEAT HANDLE "CARGO MODE" CHANGE SERVICE INFORMATION A change has been made to the 2nd row seat handles in the Applied Vehicles. Vehicles produced between August 25, 2017 and September 8, 2017 (see VIN information below) are equipped with 2nd row seat handles that have "CARGO MODE" displayed on them (Figure 1). Applied Vehicles built before and after the time period shown above are equipped with blank seat handles (Figure 2). Vehicles built BETWEEN: Wheat interior: 5N1DL0M(**)HC 560656 to 5N1DL0M(**)JC 500895 Graphite or Java interior: 5N1DL0M(**)HC 560638 to 5N1DL0M(**)JC 500932 ARE equipped with 2nd row seat handles with "CARGO MODE" displayed on them. The Infiniti New Vehicle Limited Warranty does not cover replacement of a "CARGO MODE" handle (correctly built vehicle) with a blank handle. Refer to the Infiniti Assurance Products Resource Manual (APRM) for guidelines on warranty coverage. The vehicle owner's manual contains the complete details regarding the limited warranty.
ITB17-0482017-10-12. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:COOLING SYSTEM:RADIATOR ASSEMBLY; ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:COOLING SYSTEM:FAN. 2013 JX35 AND 2014 - 2017 QX60; RADIATOR SHROUD AND COOLING FAN ASSEMBLY REPLACEMENT PROCEDURE SERVICE INFORMATION When replacing the radiator shroud and cooling fan assembly for any reason, the engine coolant, air cleaner case, and air duct does not need to be removed as part of the procedure. Use this SERVICE PROCEDURE (in place of the ESM) and the CLAIMS INFORMATION in this bulletin. The ESM will be updated at a later date. IMPORTANT: You MUST closely follow the entire SERVICE PROCEDURE as it contains information that is essential to successfully completing this repair.
