Service bulletins for the 2024 Ford Mustang

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

This may be due to the wiring connector from the mirror to the BLIS module. If diagnostics lead to an internal mirror wiring harness fault, a new lower level BLIS light pigtail is now released for service. It is not necessary to replace the exterior mirror assembly. Use part number SC3Z-14A411-B to resolve the concern.

This may be due to an internal fuel leak of the fuel injection pump causing fuel to enter the crankcase and reduce fuel pressure in the high pressure fuel rail. Diagnose this condition using Pinpoint Test HP located in the Workshop Manual, Section 303-04A. If no DTCs are stored in the PCM, proceed from Step HP1 to Step HP5 and continue testing. For claiming, if fuel injection pump replacement is required, use causal part number 9D376 and labor operation code 9543A. Some existing directed repairs may be impacted, check Professional Technician System (PTS) before attempting any specific technical service bulletin (TSB)/special service message (SSM) and check field service action (FSA) landing pages before attempting any FSA repairs. For any vehicle repairs requiring a software update that includes an APIM update in the programming sequence, if the 5-digit product code for the APIM software is equal to or lower than 23187, do not attempt to update affected modules at this time.
