Service bulletins for the 2024 Ford Mustang

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

125 on file from NHTSA, as of 2026-10-19.

SSM 524402024-04-29. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:ENGINE:ENGINE CONTROL MODULE (ECU/ECM):SOFTWARE; UNKNOWN OR OTHER; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:BODY CONTROL MODULE/BCM. Some 2024 Mustang GT vehicles built on 15-Nov-2023 and through 26-Mar-2024 may exhibit an inoperative auto start-stop feature. This may be due to the body control module (BCM) configuration. Engineering is currently working on a solution for this condition that is expected June 2024. Replacement or reprogramming of the BCM will not resolve this condition. Monitor OASIS for additional information and schedule service appointments for customers once the repair becomes available. Vehicles built on or before 14-Nov-2023 are not equipped with auto start-stop and the Workshop Manual (WSM) is in the process of being updated with this information.

The summaries are NHTSA's. Each bulletin's page links NHTSA's copy of the manufacturer's document.
