Service bulletins for the 2024 Ford Mustang

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

SSM 522482024-02-14. Service bulletin. EXTERIOR LIGHTING. Some 2024 Mustang vehicles are equipped with a clear protective film layer affixed to the top surface of the rear lamps. This protective film layer helps reduce incremental signs of contact and should not be removed/discarded. In the event the clear protective film layer were to become damaged or inadvertently removed, service kit (PR3Z-13420-C) has been released to help address this condition. Follow the instruction sheet included with service kit (PR3Z-13420-C) for proper installation/adhesion of the clear protective film layer to the rear lamp substrate. For claiming, use causal part 13404/13405 and M-time.

The summaries are NHTSA's. Each bulletin's page links NHTSA's copy of the manufacturer's document.
