Service bulletins for the 2022 Ford F-150

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

SSM 505672022-03-15. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:SOFTWARE; COMMUNICATION:MANUFACTURER TELEMATICS. Some 2021-2022 F-150 vehicles built on or after 08-Nov-2021 may exhibit inoperative connected vehicle features, such as the activate button missing in FordPass, unable to connect wirelessly to Android Auto or Apple CarPlay, or in-vehicle wifi hotspot unavailable and TCU diagnostic trouble code (DTC) U2100. This may be due to various software parameters in the TCU. To correct the condition, download and run the Telematics Control Unit (TCU) Configuration app on the latest level of the Ford diagnostic scan tool. For claiming use causal part number 14C708 and applicable labor times from Section 10 of the Service Labor Times Standard (SLTS) Manual.
SSM 503842022-02-04. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT:ELECTRICAL. Some 2021-2022 F-150 and Bronco vehicles built with SYNC 4 require a connected phone with Android Auto or Apple CarPlay active to enable voice interactions and use of the steering wheel Voice Control button. This is due to the affected vehicles not having built in voice interactions capability. Vehicles with built in voice interactions capability can be identified as also being equipped with the built in Connected Navigation feature which includes a navigation tab on the touchscreen. Diagnostics should only be performed for voice interactions on vehicles equipped with built in voice interaction capability or with Android Auto or Apple CarPlay active.
22B022022-02-04. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT. Customer Satisfaction Program 22B02 Certain 2021-2022 Model Year F-150 Vehicles Ordered with Bed Accessories Dealer Installation of Factory Ordered Accessories
SSM 503372021-12-26. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT:ELECTRICAL. Some 2021-2022 F-150 vehicles equipped with a B And O audio system may exhibit the rear sliding window glass rattling when in the open position music is playing. This may be due to a low amount of tension provided by the rear window glass sliding rail and/or the defroster wire vibrating between the two panes of glass. This condition does not affect vehicle durability and no additional diagnosis or service is required for this condition at this time. Inform customers that they can continue to drive the vehicle and engineering is currently working on a solution for this condition that is expected in March 2022. Replacement of the rear sliding window assembly will not resolve this condition. Monitor OASIS for additional information and schedule service appointments for customers once the repair becomes available.
