Service bulletins for the 2022 Ford Bronco

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

Some 2021-2022 Bronco vehicles built on or before 18-Sept-2022 may exhibit a broken parking brake switch. The original parking brake switch design is no longer available. TSB 22-23532022-09-23. Service bulletin. PARKING BRAKE. Some 2021-2022 Bronco vehicles equipped with a 2.7L or 3.0L EcoBoost engine may exhibit multiple error messages displayed in the IPC followed by automatic engagement of the parking brake immediately after starting the vehicle with the doors removed or after sitting in the vehicle for an extended period of time with the vehicle off. This may be due to the software within the anti-lock brake (ABS) module. To correct the condition, follow the Service Procedure to reprogram the ABS module.
TSB 22-20942022-03-22. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT; PARKING BRAKE:ELECTRICAL. Some 2021-2022 Bronco vehicles equipped with parking aid sensors may exhibit a park aid system that does not remain deactivated after the vehicle has been off for more than 5 minutes. The vehicle may exhibit false alerts from the parking aid warning system which may cause it to activate while driving or towing or due to the presence of a winch. This may be due to the software within the instrument panel cluster (IPC). To correct the condition, follow the Service Procedure and update the IPC software.
