Service bulletins for the 2022 Ford Bronco

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

Bulletins, newest first
SSM 522582024-02-23. Service bulletin. LATCHES/LOCKS/LINKAGES:DOORS:LOCK; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Some 2021-2024 Bronco vehicles may exhibit a parasitic battery draw. This may be due to an interior door lock switch on the driver's and passenger's interior door panels. Prior to normal Workshop Manual (WSM) diagnostics, check both front door lock control switches for damage and/or proper operation. If a front door lock control switch does not operate as designed, repair as necessary. If no problems are found, continue with normal WSM diagnostics. For claiming, use causal part 14028 and applicable labor operations in Section 10 of the Service Labor Time Standards (SLTS) Manual. If the draw is still present, refer to WSM Section 414-00 for normal diagnostics.
SSM 517902023-07-18. Service bulletin. LATCHES/LOCKS/LINKAGES; STRUCTURE:BODY:HOOD; LATCHES/LOCKS/LINKAGES:HOOD:LATCH. Some 2022-2023 Bronco vehicles built on 01-Sept-2022 and through 20-Mar-2023 may exhibit an intermittent illuminated hood ajar indicator on the instrument panel cluster and/or a false alarm activation caused by a hood ajar event. This may be due to an internal failure of the hood latch while the hood remains properly latched. To correct the condition, replace the hood latch (service base part number 16700). For claiming, use the causal part number 16700 and applicable labor operations in Section 12 of the Service Labor Time Standards (SLTS) Manual.
TSB 23-22002023-06-30. Service bulletin. LATCHES/LOCKS/LINKAGES; EQUIPMENT; VISIBILITY:SUN/MOON ROOF ASSEMBLY. Some 2021-2023 Bronco vehicles equipped with a soft top roof may exhibit rear quarter window(s) that do not stay attached to the rear window after driving the vehicle or using the soft top quick access cargo function to raise the rear of the soft top assembly for luggage compartment access. This may be due to a retention channel(s) on the rear window that is too narrow. Do not replace the rear quarter windows. To correct this condition, follow the Service Procedure to secure the rear quarter window(s) in place until a new rear window can be obtained to permanently correct this condition.
