SERVICE INFORMATION The "Lock / Unlock request buttons" that are located on the outside door handles of vehicles with Intelligent Key can be disabled (or enabled) through either the "Comfort & Conv." settings of the Audio/Visual/Navigation system, orthrough the "Combination Meter settings" depending on the vehicle model, year and trim level. NOTE: In some instances this feature may be unintentionally disabled. Please verify the status of this feature before any further diagnostic is performed. SERVICE INFORMATION This bulletin provides information to identify: - A leaking strut or a shock absorber that qualifies for replacement under warranty. - A strut or shock absorber that has slight oil seepage, a condition which is considered normal, does not affect strut/shock absorber operation or performance, and does not require replacement. - A strut or shock absorber that should be replaced due to rod resistance/noise issues. NTB11012B2021-05-10. Service bulletin. STRUCTURE. SERVICE INFORMATION If a CD/DVD Player incident is noted, a possible cause may be improper CD/DVD disc care, condition, or usage. This bulletin provides updated CD/DVD Player operation instructions to avoid potential incidents/customer concerns caused by improper care and usage of CD/DVD discs. To aid in solving customer concerns, use the guidelines in this bulletin when speaking to customers or inspecting incident vehicles. - Customers must not use discs that are warped, scratched, chipped, cracked, have abnormal edges or are otherwise damaged. Damaged or poor condition discs may cause the Player internal mechanism to jam or have optical pick-up errors. NOTE - Do not make a Warranty claim against a Player that will not play damaged or poor condition discs as described in this bulletin. See this bulletin for further detail.

TAKATA INFLATOR FIELD QUALITY PARTS COLLECTION INITIATIVE 2009-2010 CUBE INTRODUCTION Nissan is conducting this Takata Inflator Field Quality Parts Collection Initiative to replace the driver air bag inflator on certain pre-selected 2009-2010 cube vehicles in the states of Florida, Georgia and New York. This service will be performed at no charge to the customer for parts or labor. Collected parts will be sent for analysis. Return packaging, shipping labels, documents, and directions supplied must be used and followed in order to properly carry out this initiative. Takata?s documentation is attached and is part of this bulletin. NOTE: - This activity will expire when sufficient quantities have been collected. - As part of this initiative, a complementary engine oil and filter change may be performed. IDENTIFICATION NUMBER For this initiative, Nissan has assigned identification numbers P8309 and P8310. The correct number must appear on all communications and documentation of any nature dealing with this initiative. DEALER RESPONSIBILITY Dealers are to repair vehicles falling within the range of this initiative that enter the service department. This includes vehicles purchased from private parties, vehicles presented by transient (tourists) owners, and vehicles in a dealer?s inventory.

Driver Air Bag Inflator Field Quality Parts Collection Initiative ***** Collection Initiative Summary ***** Nissan is conducting a special parts collection activity to replace the driver side air bag inflators free of charge on specific MY2009 and MY2010 cube (Z12) vehicles registered in the following states: - Zone A: Florida and Georgia - Zone C: New York These vehicles were selected based on geographic location and are not subject to a recall. Instead, Nissan wishes to collect and examine approximately three-hundred (300) air bag inflators from Zone A and one-hundred (100) from Zone C. This activity is being proactively undertaken by Nissan in coordination with National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). Nissan will be notifying owners asking them to participate in this important parts collection activity. As an incentive for participation, Nissan is offering a complimentary oil change for participating customers. NOTE: Customers should be informed that this parts collection activity is timelimited. Once a sufficient number of in-use inflators has been collected, this activity will end. ***** What Dealers Should Do**** 1. Florida, Georgia, and New York dealers should verify if vehicles are eligible for this parts collection activity using Service Comm or DBS National Service History ? Open Campaign.
