Service bulletins for the 2025 Mazda CX-90

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

09-011-252025-03-04. Service bulletin. STRUCTURE:BODY. Some customers may complain that the driver’s side outer mirror glass vibrates when driving at high speeds at approximately 60 mph (100 km/hour ) or more on bumpy roads such as road joints, coarse-grained paved roads or rough roads. This is caused by insufficient hardness of the adhesive tape between the outer mirror glass holder and the mirror glass. To eliminate this concern, the material of the adhesive tape between the outer mirror glass holder and the mirror glass has been improved and the tape location has been modified.

Some vehicles may experience the second-row seat (configured as captain chairs or 60/40 bench) not sliding with the walk-in lever operation, although it slides with the sliding lever. The link bracket (2) may interfere with the kick plate (1) while operating the recline function, causing the deformation of the link bracket and preventing it from pulling the cable properly to unlock the seat for sliding. To eliminate this concern, the thickness of the link bracket has been modified to prevent deformation and the shape of the kick plate has been modified to prevent the interference.
07-002-252025-02-04. Service bulletin. UNKNOWN OR OTHER. Some customers may complain that the A/C is not cold enough. Upon inspection, a coolant leak (1) from the cooler hose (LO) (2) is confirmed.

PF-24-01R22024-11-04. Other. POWER TRAIN. This Parts Flash replaces Parts Flash 24-01R1 dated September 19, 2024. Due to a manufacturing change, the CX-70 and CX-90 transmission has undergone a transmission part design change when replacing the transmission assembly. The new/superseded design can be used in place of the old/original design as the coolant hose (D-Code 21-5LX) is no longer needed to be used. Although Battery State of Charge (SOC) is full, Maximum Driving Distance Display shows 1 mile (1 km). • Although Battery SOC is full, the vehicle cannot drive using EV mode (using electric motor power only) and will use HEV mode (using both electric power and a gas engine. • This is caused by low ambient temperature and low battery temperature. EV mode is suspended until the battery warms up to protect it from degradation and the gas engine will power the vehicle. This is normal operation. If the battery pack is able to warm up, EV mode will start and the display will change to show the correct Maximum Driving Distance Display for EV mode.

The summaries are NHTSA's. Each bulletin's page links NHTSA's copy of the manufacturer's document.
