| 2025447 | 2025-09-02. Fuel System. Issue: On certain vehicles, an incorrect fuel level may be displayed on the instrument cluster. As a result, the driver may be unaware of how much fuel is in the tank, and the vehicle could run out of fuel and stall. Safety Risk: A sudden loss of engine power could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: To reduce the safety risk, Mazda advises that you should refuel before the fuel gauge reaches ¼ level until the recall repairs have been completed. Mazda will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealer to update the body control module software. |
