Service bulletins for the 2025 Mazda CX-90
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

| SA-058-24 | 2024-09-04. Service bulletin. STRUCTURE:BODY. Some vehicles may experience exterior trim heat damage such (melted, separating, etc.) when parked near a glass building or Low-E windows. This may be caused by the sun's reflection. |
| SA-057-24 | 2024-09-04. Service bulletin. ENGINE; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; UNKNOWN OR OTHER. If you encounter any type of electrical concern (e.g, dead battery, engine no start, DTC(s) stored...), interview the customer before proceeding with normal MGSS diagnosis by asking if any aftermarket devices have been installed. Aftermarket devices may be the cause of the electrical concern. Below are a few examples of unusual electrical concerns caused by aftermarket devices. |
| SA-056-24 | 2024-09-04. Service bulletin. STRUCTURE:BODY. Interior parts made of resin have antistatic coating to prevent dust from sticking on the surfaces, and depending on the conditions of use, the antistatic components may crystallize slightly, giving an appearance of white stains on the surface. To remove the stains, wipe the stained surface with a towel soaked with water mixed with a small portion of a neutral detergent. If the white stains reappear again, simply wipe them again in the same way. |
| SA-055-24 | 2024-09-04. Service bulletin. POWER TRAIN. A New Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF-A7) is being used for some 2023, 2024 and 2025 models. ATF-A7 is an extremely low viscosity formulation with low friction to achieve best-in-class fuel economy and driving performance. For easy identification, ATF-A7 is colored Red and ATF-FZ is colored Blue. There is NO interchangeability between ATF-A7 and ATF-FZ. |
| SA-053-24 | 2024-09-04. Service bulletin. UNKNOWN OR OTHER. Auxiliary key blank cutting procedure. There are currently 2 methods for cutting a new auxiliary key blank. A. Auxiliary Key Trace Cut Method B. Auxiliary Key Code Cut Method |
| SA-052-24 | 2024-09-04. Service bulletin. POWER TRAIN; ENGINE. Some customer's might state that they notice fluid or oil leaking/dripping on the ground when the vehicle is parked. For this concern, inspect the vehicle for any trace of a fluid or oil leak and use the following examples as a guide to determine if it is severe enough to require a repair, or just to clean the area and monitor it at the next service. |
| SA-016-24b | 2024-09-04. Service bulletin. SERVICE BRAKES. Some vehicles exhibit brake related concerns such as brake noise, brake judder or brake dragging. If you encounter a customer complaint for any one of these symptoms, refer to the following information to understand why symptoms may occur, and to better assist the customer in resolving their specific brake concern. |
| SA-006-24b | 2024-09-04. Service bulletin. UNKNOWN OR OTHER; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Customers having MAZDA CONNECT concerns should have their vehicle repaired using the following repair procedure. |
| SA-054-24 | 2024-09-04. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; UNKNOWN OR OTHER. When the power windows are operated many times without being fully closed, small errors of the window position sensor may accumulate and cause improper operation of the jam-safe function. To reduce the risk of this occurrence, the AUTO function is disabled if the power window is operated 10 consecutive times without being fully closed (turning the ignition OFF and then ON does not reset the counting). If the power window is fully closed before the 10th time, the counting restarts and the AUTO function is not deactivated. |
| SA-061-24 | 2024-09-04. Service bulletin. UNKNOWN OR OTHER. Some customers may complain about a low washer fluid level warning message even though a visual inspection of the washer fluid tank looks like it still has a fair amount of fluid in it. With the CX-90 and CX-70 introduction of the front-engine and rear-wheel-drive layout, the washer tank shape was changed from a vertical to a horizontal type. This makes it look like there is still enough liquid left if viewed from the spout when the warning light comes on. |
| SA-042-24a | 2024-09-04. Service bulletin. UNKNOWN OR OTHER. Some customers will report that their fuel filler lid (door) was stuck closed and would not open to refuel the vehicle. The fuel door may or may not be missing. |
| 09-039-24 | 2024-09-04. Service bulletin. EXTERIOR LIGHTING. Some vehicles equipped with the Adaptive Front lighting System (AFS) may exhibit the exterior light warning light/exterior light warning indication on while driving or when the ignition is turned on and DTC B10A3:86 (Error signal received from swivel actuator (LH)) stored in memory. |
| 09-037-24 | 2024-09-04. Service bulletin. EXTERIOR LIGHTING. Some customers may complain that on rainy days, the front combination light may appear to flicker or flash when the vehicle is stopped. This is not a vehicle defect since the lights are functioning properly; but rather, it is a phenomenon that can occur due to light refraction from water running over the headlamp lens while illuminated. NOTE: Explain to the customer that the repair described in this TSB helps disperse the water running over the headlamp lens to avoid the water flow concentrating to the lens axis, but it does not eliminate the phenomenon completely. No mass production is scheduled. |
| 09-018-24a | 2024-09-04. Service bulletin. UNKNOWN OR OTHER; STRUCTURE:BODY. Some customers may complain that the driver’s side outer mirror glass vibrates when driving at high speeds at approximately 60 mph (100 km/hour ) or more on bumpy roads such as road joints, coarse-grained paved roads or rough roads. This is caused by insufficient hardness of the adhesive tape between the outer mirror glass holder and the mirror glass. To eliminate this concern, the material of the adhesive tape between the outer mirror glass holder and the mirror glass has been improved and the tape location has been modified. |
| SA-011-24b | 2024-08-05. Service bulletin. UNKNOWN OR OTHER. Mazda has developed factory recommended scheduled maintenance services that support all major vehicle systems. Mazda recommends dealers follow the scheduled maintenance tables as cited in the vehicle-specific workshop manual or owner's manual. | SA-043-24 | 2024-08-05. Service bulletin. STRUCTURE:BODY; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Some customers will report their window will not auto-close. This may be caused by the vehicle learning the window current draw incorrectly because the door moved when the initialization was performed. |
| SA-042-24 | 2024-08-05. Service bulletin. FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM. Some customers will report that their fuel filler lid (door) was stuck closed and would not open to refuel the vehicle. The fuel door may or may not be missing. |
