Service bulletins for the 2019 Mazda CX-3
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

| 09-005-26 | 2026-02-03. Service bulletin. LANE DEPARTURE: BLIND SPOT DETECTION; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. If the right-side Blind Spot Monitoring (BSM) control module is replaced for any reason, it is also necessary to replace the left-side BSM control module in order to complete the radar aiming procedure. If the right-side BSM control module is replaced alone, "Automatic Configuration" and "BSM Radar Aiming" cannot be completed due to a programming error in the module. In most cases, if the left-side BSM control module is replaced alone, "Automatic Configuration" and "BSM Radar Aiming" can be completed without any problem (See CAUTION below for more details). Other possible symptoms that may be found if the right-side BSM module is replaced alone: BSM aiming fails “BSM OFF" indicator ON Center Display warning message BSM failsafe (No operation) DTC U3000:54 stored in memory DTC U1A4B:54 stored in memory (CX-3, MX-5 only) NOTE: Since a new BSM control module does not retain the vehicle specification information, it is necessary to acquire and store the vehicle specification information transmitted via CAN communication from the combination meter through automatic configuration after replacement. |

| 15-004-18-3539 | 2018-12-17. Service bulletin. LANE DEPARTURE: BLIND SPOT DETECTION. Some customers may experience a Blind Spot Monitoring (BSM) system that does not detect a vehicle in the BSM alert area. The BSM indicator light on the outer door mirror glass will not illuminate and no DTC's are stored. The BSM system may operate when switching the ignition switch OFF, then ON. This may be caused by low battery voltage that stops its operation during the drive cycle, even if the voltage recovers. To eliminate this concern, the BSM control module logic has been modified to not to stop its operation when the voltage recovers. |
