Flash: HVAC Diagnostic and System Updates This bulletin involves reprogramming the HVAC control module with the latest available software. The customer may notice one or more of the following:Intermittent change of smell or humidity level in vehicle. An intermittent blast of warm air when A/C is on. Intermittent increase of outside air through the HVAC system. In addition, the following software enhancement is also available:Improvements for customer concerns of 'cabin too warm', specifically in the mid ambient temperature range 4.5-15.5 °C (40-60 °F).

Flash: Powertrain Control Module (PCM) Updates This bulletin involves reprogramming the PCM with the latest available software. Customers may experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination. Upon further investigation the technician may find one or more ofthe following DTCs.P0300 - Multiple Cylinder Misfire. P258B - Electronic Vacuum Pump Performance. C1252-92 - Vacuum Pump Control Circuit - Performance Or Incorrect Operation. P0456 - EVAP System Small Leak.If DTC P0456 is present use the wiTECH Small Leak Verification test (SLVT) to determine if a leak is present in the system. P1404 - EGR Close Position Performance. P1206 - Fuel Pump Control Module Open Circuit To Fuel Pump. Upon diagnosing the vehicle the technician may find DTC P1206 set before flashing the vehicle, the correct DTC will now be P025A - Fuel Pump Module Control Circuit Open after the softwareupdate.In addition the customer may notice one or more of the following: The Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) light illuminates. The customer may notice an ability to shift into 1st gear at an unsafespeed(MTX Only). Cluster displays "Autopark Engaged" even when autopark is no longer active.

UAQ and UCQ Radio Enhancements This bulletin involves inspecting and if required, updating the radio software level to: 39.6.The repair procedure must be followed step by step. If the radio is not updated with the correct software level at the correct time the radio can be damaged. Improved Steering Feel This bulletin involves replacing the steering gear and updating the Electric Hydraulic Power Steering (EHPS) software, checking sales codes and performing vehicle reconfig, if required.Review and perform all step necessary to complete the Repair Procedure. If any steps are missed this may lead to undesired handling characteristics. The customer may describe one or more of the following:Steering wander. Vehicle has a lead/pull to the right or left.The lead/pull will be more noticeable in hot ambient temperatures. Steering feels like it has excess play.This Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) repair will NOT correct a sustained steering shake, shimmy or vibration. Video aid has been developed for this issue.
