2026-06-04. Structure. Issue: On certain vehicles, the suspension mounting points on the rear subframe could rust. As a result, rear suspension components could fail. If the weight sensor fails, the SRS warning light would turn on in the instrument panel. Safety Risk: An airbag system that doesn't work properly could increase the risk of injury in a crash. | 2023603 | 2023-11-08. Engine. Issue: On certain vehicles equipped with a V6 engine, the connecting rod bearings could wear prematurely and become damaged. If this happens, the engine could make abnormal noises and a warning light may turn on. If you continue to drive the vehicle with these symptoms, the engine could fail. Safety Risk: An engine failure could cause a sudden loss of power and/or increase the risk of a vehicle fire. Both issues could increase the risk of a crash or injury. Corrective actions: Honda will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect the engine. If damage is found, the dealer will replace the necessary parts.

If this happens, the rearview camera image may not display when the transmission is shifted into reverse. Safety Risk: A rearview camera image that does not display could reduce a driver's ability to see behind the vehicle while backing up. This could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Honda will notify owners by mail. Due to a parts supply issue, Honda will advise you to take your truck to the dealership only if this failure occurs. When enough parts are available, Honda will re-notify owners and instruct you to take your truck to a dealership to replace the tailgate wiring harness. |
2021-11-25. Structure. Issue: On certain vehicles, the hood latch striker could separate from the hood. If this happens, the hood could open while driving. Note: A loose or vibrating hood may be a warning that the hood latch is failing. Safety Risk: A hood that opens suddenly while driving could block the driver's view and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Honda will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to inspect the hood latch striker. Depending on its condition, a striker support plate will be installed, or if necessary, the hood will be replaced.
2021-03-26. Fuel System. Issue: On certain vehicles, the low-pressure fuel pump could fail. | 2020441 | 2020-09-17. Accessories. Issue: This recall is for Honda Genuine Accessory tri-fold tonneau covers that were sold as an accessory by Honda dealers. There may be a problem with the bed-cover that could cause it to come loose while driving and detach from the truck. Safety Risk: A bed-cover cover that separates from a moving truck could create a hazard for other drivers and nearby people. Corrective Actions: Honda will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your truck to a dealer for an inspection. If necessary, the dealer will install a tether between the center and rear panels of the tonneau cover to prevent them from separating. The dealer will also provide you with an updated accessory owner's manual and apply warning labels that remind you to properly secure the tonneau cover before driving. Note: Until the recall repairs are completed, you can prevent the tonneau cover from coming loose by removing and storing it.
2019-04-11. Engine. Issue: On certain vehicles, the teeth on the timing belt may separate due to a manufacturing issue. This could result in an engine stall. Safety Risk: An engine stall could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: The company will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their vehicle to a dealer to inspect the lot number on the timing belt. If it is within the affected range, the belt will be replaced. Additionally, dealers will inspect the engine for internal damage.
2019-01-25. Fuel System. Issue: During a car wash, water can drain from the truck bed onto the top of the fuel pump. Certain car wash detergents containing sulfuric acid could cause damage to the fuel pump. This could cause the fuel pump to crack and create a fuel leak. Safety Risk: Fuel leakage, in the presence of an ignition source, could increase the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: The company will notify owners by mail. Owners will be instructed to take their vehicle to a dealer for an inspection of the fuel pump. If the fuel pump is cracked, it will be replaced. Dealers will also install a fuel pump cover. Note: Owners who smell a fuel odour or believe there is a fuel leak should contact a dealer immediately.
