Service bulletins for the 2023 Ford F-550

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

284 on file from NHTSA, as of 2026-10-19.

Bulletins, newest first
SSM 543332025-11-04. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; SERVICE BRAKES; STEERING. Some 2023-2025 F-Super Duty vehicles may exhibit a no crank/no start or intermittent no crank/no start with multiple warning indicators and DTC U0100 stored in the anti-lock brake system (ABS), audio front control module (ACM) and power steering control module (PSCM). This may be due to an incorrectly tightened ground 113 (G113). Inspect G113 for proper connection and tighten to 12 Nm (8.9 ft-lb). If the condition remains after tightening G113, perform normal diagnostics outside of this article. Refer to Workshop Manual, Section 303-06 Starting System. For claiming, use causal part 12A581 and labor operations 12650D and 12650D45WR of the Service Labor Time Standards (SLTS) Manual.
SSM 541732025-09-02. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. If the condition remains after tightening G113, continue with normal diagnostics. Refer to Workshop Manual, Section 303-06 Starting System outside of this article. For claiming, use causal part 12A581 and labor operations 12650D and 12650D45WD.
SSM 539942025-07-02. Service bulletin. VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL; POWER TRAIN. Some 2023-2025 F-Super Duty vehicles may exhibit a no crank/no start with diagnostic trouble code (DTC) U0100 in various modules. This condition may be due to the ground connection at G113. Inspect G113 for proper connection and tighten to 12 +/- 1.8 Nm. If condition remains after tightening G113, continue with normal diagnostics. Refer to Workshop Manual, Section 303-06 Starting System.
SSM 515782023-05-04. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:BODY CONTROL MODULE/BCM. Some 2023 F-Super Duty vehicles may set DTCs B109F:55, B1330:9A, U0252:87, U0198:87, U0184:87, U0155:87, U0256:87, and/or U0100:87 in the BCM when a diagnostic self-test is performed. This may be due to an incorrect sequence of an internal measurement unit during self-test causing a false history status DTC (0x48 or 0x08 status). The DTC matures to history status because the BCM detects nothing is wrong. Replacement or reprogramming of the BCM will not resolve this condition. B109F:55, B1330:9A, U0252:87, U0198:87, U0184:87, U0155:87, U0256:87, and/or U0100:87 should be ignored if: no other DTCs are present in the BCM, the malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) is not illuminated while the engine is running, and no drivability concerns are present. No further service action is required.
SSM 514882023-04-06. Service bulletin. POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION:CONTROL MODULE (TCM/PCM/TECM). Some 2023 F-Super Duty vehicles may set diagnostic trouble code (DTC) U0100:87 in the telematics control unit (TCU) during a diagnostic self-test. This DTC sets when the TCU does not detect a valid signal from the powertrain control module (PCM) through the controller area network (CAN). U0100:87 should be ignored if: no other DTCs are present in the PCM or TCU module, the malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) is not illuminated while the engine is running, and no drivability concerns are present. No further service action is required.
