If these codes have set with a customer complaint of abnormal steering wheel oscillation, clear these DTCs and address any steering related concerns. If these DTCs do not return, do not make any fuel injector related repairs. The abnormal steering wheel oscillation event may be generating noise on the camshaft or crankshaft sensor frequency resulting in these DTCs to set.
SSM 485642020-03-03. Service bulletin. STEERING. Some 2017-2020 F-Super Duty vehicles may exhibit a characteristic or abnormal steering wheel oscillation concern. The workshop manual (WSM) has been updated to provide diagnostic direction for both symptoms, refer to Section 211-03 Steering Linkage > Diagnosis and Testing > Symptom Chart. This message is only to provide awareness of this WSM update and does not supersede other published diagnostic direction.
