Service bulletins for the 2018 Ford F-150

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

Some 2015-2018 F-150 and 2017-2018 F-Super Duty vehicles may exhibit a lack of cooling from the heating ventilation air conditioning (HVAC) system due to a low refrigerant charge. Using an ultraviolet (UV) leak detection light, inspect the condenser near the receiver/dryer cap for the presence of dye. If dye is present, replace the condenser. For claiming, use causal part 19712 and applicable labor operations in Section 11 of the Service Labor Time Standards (SLTS) Manual
