This same month last year we had over 40,000 open aged > 5 days tickets. As a result of focused efforts to verify vehicles are repaired and close tickets the number is now at just under 7,000 tickets.

Part Description: RHR Radio Issue Description: Issue 1: While performing RHR radio reflash (software update), on rare occasions, the flash can fail to properly update the radio resulting in the radio running in Emergency IFS mode. This error condition can occur due to interrupting the software update, background radio operations interfering with the reflash process, etc. The radio will reboot, but with limited functionality (examples may include but are not limited to: NAV, Voice Recognition, Bluetooth, or AUX jack are inop, no available space shown on HDD, etc.). The radio can still be properly updated by simply reinserting the software update disc and performing the reflash procedure again. To assist in the verification that the radio is running Emergency IFS perform the following:~ 1. Power on radio~2. Press MENU H/K~3. Press System Setup S/K~4. Press Manage HDD S/K~5. Press Display Available Space on HDD S/K~6. When running Emergency IFS, all items under Used, Available, and Capacity report as dashes~ Issue 2: If you are having troubles connecting a phone or a MP3 player, try removing the battery on the device and then going through the pairing/connection procedure again. If you cannot remove the battery on the device, perform a reboot. Each manufacturer has a different series of buttons to hold down to perform a reboot. If the problem still persists, try the device on another like vehicle with the same radio. If you are having the same connection issues on another like vehicle, the device may be faulty or it may not be compatible with the RHR radio. Go to www.chrysler.com/hostb/crossbrand/owners/en and click on ?Bluetooth Phone Compatibility Test Results? link for a list of phones that are compatible. For MP3 players and media storage devices, only .wma, .aac, .mp3, .sacd, .jpeg & .jpg files are supported. N0802072013 Chrysler Group LLC (Chrysler) announced a safety recall on certain 2009 through 2012 model year: (DS) Ram Truck (ND) Dodge Dakota (HB) Dodge Durango (HG) Chrysler Aspen NOTE: All of the above involved vehicles are equipped with a Chrysler 9.25? rear axle (sales code DRB) or C235 rear axle (sales code DRN). The above vehicles may have been built with a rear axle pinion nut that can loosen, which could result in the rear axle locking up. This could cause a loss of vehicle control and/or a crash with little warning. Chrysler will conduct a voluntary safety recall on all affected vehicles to install a rear axle pinion nut retainer. Dealers will be notified of the launch of this safety recall by way of established methods used in the past.

Further investigation by the technician may find P1C56 - NOx Sensor Intermittent - Bank 1 Sensor 2 is set active or stored.This condition may be caused by insufficient heat retention in the exhaust at or near the DEF doser.

A customer may experience the Uconnect prompts begin to play without pressing the Voice Recognition (VR) button. The prompt may repeat itself two or three times before exiting. The customer satisfaction enhancements are included with this software release. NOTE: After the HFM has been updated it will receive these enhancements: · Reduced ?Device Reading? wait time after connecting a device to the remote USB port. · Call / dial separation improves upon names being recognized as phone numbers. · Improved sound quality during Bluetooth streaming. · Increased iPod and iPhone compatibility. · SMS messaging support via Mobile Application Part (MAP) protocol (not all phones support the MAP protocol). · Added ?None of These? and ?Correction? to the phone book prompt menu for better handling of similar names. · Previous button will return the song currently being played to the beginning of the track. · AirPlay feature ?Dock Connector? no longer needs to be manually selected on Apple devices. Mopar offers an alternative product (82213192) which is a water based product approved for sale in the aforementioned states.~ ~ Please inform the customer & your prep dept that spraying excessive amounts of the fabric protector on load floors will result in the breaking down of the adhesive (glue) that is used to create the bond between the fabric (carpet) and the load floor. This will apply to any vehicles equipped with rear load floors such as WK, WD, PM, MK, KA, KK. The carpet will appear to be loose, wrinkly, or bunch up~
