Service bulletins for the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

1709 on file from NHTSA, as of 2026-10-19.

As this condition worsens, it may be found that the Check Engine Lamp (CEL) has turned on, the engine cooling fan stops operating all together and/or a P0480 DTC may be set. If the customer would continue driving with an inoperative cooling fan, the engine can overheat causing severe engine component damage.
