A recall listed here may apply to some of the same vehicles. Only the manufacturer can say whether it applies to one vehicle.
| SSM 52389 | 2024-04-04. Service bulletin. Some 2022-2024 F-Super Duty vehicles equipped with a 6.7L engine may exhibit an illuminated malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) with only diagnostic trouble code (DTC) U3012 stored in the PCM. If no drivability concerns or other DTCs are present, perform normal diagnostics per the Workshop Manual (WSM). If diagnostics lead to the powertrain control module (PCM) or body control module (BCM), the replacement of the PCM and/or the BCM will not resolve this concern. This illuminated MIL with DTC U3012 does not affect vehicle durability and no additional diagnosis or service is required for this condition at this time. Inform customers that they can continue to drive the vehicle and engineering is currently working on a solution for this condition. Monitor OASIS for additional information and schedule service appointments for customers once the repair becomes available. |

| TSB 24-2071 | 2024-04-03. Service bulletin. Some 2024 Mustang vehicles equipped with a manual tranmission may exhibit an intermittent DTE reading that drops to 0 with the fuel level displaying near 25% capacity. This may be due to the software level of the powertrain control module (PCM). To correct this condition, perform the Service Procedure below to reprogram the PCM to the latest software level using the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS). |
| TSB 24-2066 | 2024-04-03. Service bulletin. This TSB supersedes article 24-2036 to update the vehicles affected. Some 2023-2024 F-Super Duty pickup vehicles built on or before 02-Jan-2024 equipped with a 6.7L engine may exhibit an illuminated MIL with diagnostic trouble codes (DTC) P0133, P0139, and/or P0145 stored in the powertrain control module (PCM). This may be due to the software in the PCM and does not affect vehicle operation. |
| SSM 52342 | 2024-03-20. Service bulletin. Some 2022-2024 Broncos Raptors built on and before 13-Feb-2024 and 2021-2024 Broncos equipped with a 2.3L EcoBoost engine may exhibit an illuminated MIL with ignition system DTC(s) P0352, P0353, P0354, P0355, P0357, P2303, P2306, P2309, P2312, P2318, P2304, P2307, P2310, P2313, P2319, and/or P2322 set in the powertrain control module (PCM). This may be due to incorrect cylinder to DTC mapping within the PCM. This means the DTCs listed may set against the incorrect cylinder. Even though the cylinder to DTC mapping is incorrect in the PCM, the presence of these DTCs means that a real ignition system concern is present that requires diagnosis and repair. Prior to performing a pinpoint test for one of the listed DTCs, it will be necessary to identify the correct cylinder that has the issue. Do this by using the Ford diagnosis and repair system (FDRS) to perform a cylinder power balance test. If the results show two cylinders dropping out, begin diagnosing the ignition system components for the cylinder that is dropping out and not setting an ignition related DTC. Due to the incorrect cylinder to DTC mapping |
| SSM 52318 | 2024-03-20. Service bulletin. Some 2024 F-150 vehicles equipped with a 3.5L PowerBoost may set incorrect cylinder misfire DTCs while the CSER monitor is active. The CSER monitor runs for approximately 3 minutes after a cold soak start-up. If a misfire occurs while the CSER monitor is running, the powertrain control module (PCM) software strategy may set an incorrect cylinder misfire code. Prior to a repair attempt, allow the vehicle to run for at least 3 minutes and verify any individual cylinder misfire codes by performing a Power Balance Test using the Ford Diagnostic and Repair System (FDRS) scan tool. Engineering is currently working on a solution for this condition and will be released via Ford Power-Up software updates delivered over-the-air (OTA) expected in Q3 2024. Software will update automatically if vehicle connectivity is enabled in the vehicle's settings. Schedule a service visit for customers who have disabled vehicle connectivity or who report that they did not receive the update in Q3 2024. Monitor OASIS for additional information. |
| SSM 52309 | 2024-03-20. Service bulletin. Some 2024 F-150 vehicles may set diagnostic trouble code (DTC) P0534:00 in the powertrain control module (PCM) when a diagnostic self-test is performed. This may be due to the PCM responding to large changes in ambient temperatures from warm to below freezing when the vehicle has less than 62 miles (100 km) and still in a rapid learn mode for the ambient air temperature logic. The rapid update to the temperature can result in the vehicle setting this DTC. DTC P0534:00 does not affect vehicle drivability and has no effect on vehicle operation. No additional diagnostics or service is required for this condition at this time. DTC P0534:00 is a background diagnostic code for service only and does not illuminate the malfunction indicator lamp (MIL), powertrain malfunction indicator (wrench), or provide any indication to the vehicle operator. Inform customers that they can continue to drive the vehicle and engineering is currently working on a solution for this condition that is expected in Q2 2024. Replacement or reprogramming of the PCM will not resolve this condition. Monitor OASIS for additional informati |
| SSM 52299 | 2024-03-05. Service bulletin. Some 2023-2024 F-Super Duty vehicles equipped with a 6.7L engine may exhibit an illuminated malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) with diagnostic trouble codes (DTC) U02A2, P206B, P203B, P208A, P20FA, P20FD, and/or P20FC stored in the powertrain control module (PCM). Before performing normal diagnostics, inspect connectors C1273C (32 pin) and C406 (14 pin) for proper connection. Also disconnect and inspect C1415 (32 pin), C406 (14 pin), C4863 (7 pin) and C4864 (5 pin) on the 14405 vehicle harness for signs of terminal push out, water intrusion and/or corrosion. Refer to the Wiring Diagram for connector locations. Repair as necessary. Refer to Wiring Diagram Cell 005 for repair procedures. |

Some 2021-2024 Bronco vehicles equipped with 4x4 with part time engagement and built on or before 12-Jan-2024 may exhibit a condition of the vehicle being stuck in neutral tow mode. This may be due to a concern with the all-wheel drive (AWD) module software. Make sure the proper procedure is being followed to exit neutral tow mode by referring to the Owner's Manual > Towing Your Vehicle > Recreationally Towing Your Vehicle. Make sure the vehicle's battery is fully charged and then diagnose all diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) in the AWD module. Refer to Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 307-07A. If diagnostics do not resolve the concern or there are no DTCs present in the AWD module, reprogram the AWD module using the latest software level of the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS) diagnostic scan tool. Refer to the appropriate section of the WSM. Once the repair is complete, verify the vehicle's ability to successfully enter and exit neutral tow mode by cycling the vehicle in and out of neutral tow mode a minimum of two times, allowing the vehicle to enter sleep mode (key-off for at least 5 minutes) be |
