Service bulletin TSB 24-2066
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

| SSM 52389 | 2024-04-04. Service bulletin. Some 2022-2024 F-Super Duty vehicles equipped with a 6.7L engine may exhibit an illuminated malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) with only diagnostic trouble code (DTC) U3012 stored in the PCM. If no drivability concerns or other DTCs are present, perform normal diagnostics per the Workshop Manual (WSM). If diagnostics lead to the powertrain control module (PCM) or body control module (BCM), the replacement of the PCM and/or the BCM will not resolve this concern. This illuminated MIL with DTC U3012 does not affect vehicle durability and no additional diagnosis or service is required for this condition at this time. Inform customers that they can continue to drive the vehicle and engineering is currently working on a solution for this condition. Monitor OASIS for additional information and schedule service appointments for customers once the repair becomes available. |

Some 2023 F-Super Duty vehicles equipped with a 6.7L engine may exhibit an illuminated malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) with diagnostic trouble code (DTC) P20A5 stored in the powertrain control module (PCM). When the pop-up message appears for Change Vehicle Mode - Transport/Factory/Normal Mode, press OK.
