A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

SSM 538942025-06-19. Service bulletin. Some 2022-2025 Transit vehicles equipped with a 360 degree camera may exhibit one camera display inoperative with diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) B12BE:31, B148E:31, B12BF:31 and B115E:31 stored in the image processing module B (IPMB). These DTCs will set when only one camera has the condition. Replacement and/or reprogramming of the IPMB will not resolve this condition. To properly identify which camera/circuit has the condition and requires repair, visually confirm which camera display is inoperative (grayed out/blank/blue). If the condition is intermittent, interview the customer to find out more details and/or review the DTCs stored in the IPMB. The DTC with a status byte of 2F (example: B12BF:31:2F) indicates which camera/circuit has the condition. Repair as necessary. Refer to the Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 413-13C.
TSB 24-20512024-03-07. Service bulletin. Some 2022 Transit vehicles may experience at least one of the following symptoms: auto start-stop button no longer available after an over-the-air (OTA) update, reverse camera screen stayed on vehicle's center display screen when vehicle was in drive, charge status indicator not working, connected vehicle features do not open in the vehicle's center display screen. This may be due to the software in the SYNC module (APIM). To correct the condition, follow the Service Procedure to reprogram the APIM. NOTE: The APIM software update that addresses the symptom listed in this article may have been sent via Ford Power-Up software updates delivered over-the-air (OTA) to connected vehicles that have automatic updates enabled through the vehicle's center display screen. Enter the vehicle identification number (VIN) in Professional Technician System (PTS) and check the OTA Dashboard under the Connected Vehicle tab for OTA update history. If an update to the APIM has successfully completed recently and the customer is reporting the symptoms are no longer present, this article may not apply.
SSM 517602023-07-03. Service bulletin. Some 2022-2023 Transit vehicles, excluding cutaway and chassis cab body vehicles, equipped with a rear-view camera level 2 system only and 12 inch center display screen, may exhibit a lack of active or fixed guidelines after rear view camera replacement. Vehicles may also exhibit a diagnostic trouble code (DTC) C1001:55 stored in the SYNC module (APIM). This may be due to the APIM requiring the Local Interconnect Network (LIN) to recognize the new rear-view camera. To restore the active or fixed guidelines, download and run the APIM - Local Interconnect Network (LIN) New Module Initialization application in Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS) when replacing the rear-view camera.

This may be due to a software parameter in the PCM. To correct the condition, follow the Service Procedure to reprogram the PCM.
SSM 514072023-04-04. Service bulletin. Some 2021-2022 Ford and Lincoln vehicles equipped with SYNC 4 may experience an error message during the gateway module (GWM) software update application which states Procedure Unsuccessful- GetConfigDataFromGIVIS. This may be the result of a server related concern. To correct the condition, download and run the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS) application GWM-Read the Gateway Module A (GWM) Configuration Data application. When the application completes, refresh and re-attempt the GWM-Gateway Module A (GWM) Software Update application. TSB 23-20342023-03-04. Service bulletin. Some 2022 Transit vehicles may exhibit a DTC U0198:00 stored in the APIM but does not exhibit any customer concerns around the vehicle location or global positioning system (GPS). Some 2022 Transit vehicles that are not equipped with a telematics control unit (TCU) module and built on or before 28-Mar-2022 may exhibit a no crank/no start condition due to a discharged battery. If no parasitic draw is found during normal diagnostics, run the GWM - Gateway Module A (GWM) Configuration application using the latest software level of the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS) scan tool to correct the condition. For claiming, use causal part 14F642 and applicable labor operations in Section 10 of the Service Labor Time Standards (SLTS) Manual.

Some 2017-2022 Transit Connect/Transit/Explorer vehicles equipped with a fleet telematics global positioning system (GPS) and a connected human machine interface (HMI) radio (CHR) may experience concerns with rear camera zoom, wrong map matching or a blank display. If these concerns are present, it's likely to be a software issue caused by the audio control module (ACM) that can be remedied by updating the ACM software to the latest level with the FDRS application. If the update does not resolve the concern, refer to the Workshop Manual. For claiming, use causal part 18C869 and applicable labor operations in Section 10 of the Service Labor Time Standards (SLTS) Manual.
