08071172022-10-24. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; SEAT BELTS; BACK OVER PREVENTION; PARKING BRAKE. This bulletin involves inspecting and updating the radio software, if required. A customer may experience one or more of the following conditions. Navigation Failed? message is displayed. Navigation is inoperative or inaccurate. CD player will not play songs and/or locks up the radio. Clock will not automatically update to local time. Clock may be off by several hours. (RA3 Only). HVAC temperature out of sync with radio display (KL vehicles). Some Uconnect App remote commands do not execute with the vehicle. Radio Apps are inoperative. Adds Apple Siri® Eyes Free capability for iPhone® owners. Auto Play can now be configured. Radio will lock up. Radio display screen is black or blank. Battery drain - due to radio remains on. HVAC temperature out of sync with radio display (KL vehicles). Track names may be displayed twice in USB or SD media modes. SD, USB or BTSA modes may become non-functional for a given ignition cycle. Duplicate song titles may be displayed in USB mode. Last track is displayed but next track is being played. Navigation function may reset itself after using One-Shot VR. Intermittently the Global Positioning System (GPS) may lose its location for a short time and causes routing and positioning concerns. GPS and Internal cellular device may become inoperative and causes a loss of GPS and cellular functions. A false Pop-up message may appear. Vehicle Phone Requires Service? even though the vehicle?s phone works properly. Back-up camera image may be unclear or jittery/stutters at times. Mute button status was not being displayed correctly. Presets where not shown correctly or were deleted. Park Sense tone continuously on. Radio display may show. Please insert USB Stick? Navigation may not start or may lose position. Rear camera may show a black screen for 3 seconds upon going to reverse. iPod would not resume playing after a VR session or phone call. Radio reset, screen lockup, blank screen or sluggish system.

Washer Fluid Level Sensor Prior to replacing this part due to "Low Washer Fluid" tell tale light on the dash and the washer fluid bottle is full, please perform the this inspection. Inspect the sensor for a fluid coating on the sensor pins. Orange colored rain repellant can cause this fluid build-up. Clean the pins, drain the reservoir, and fill with Mopar approved washer fluid. Check to determine if the issue has been resolved. Continue with repair if necessary. Also, please inform the customer not to use Rain-X in the system to avoid this issue. 683328102022-10-17. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. Service - Four Piece Oil Pan Gasket All Cummins Equipped Vehicles ONLY - The replacement oil pan gasket can be a four piece gasket rather than a single piece gasket. This applies to Cummins 5.9L and 6.7L engines only. Installation: 1. Clean the oil pan T-joints.~ 2. Fill the T-joint between the pan rail/gear housing and pan rail/rear seal retainer with sealant. Use Mopar® Silicone Rubber Adhesive Sealant or equivalent. 3. Apply a 2-mm [0.063-in] bead of Mopar Engine Sealant RTV Silicone Rubber Adhesive, to the oil pan flange.~ 4. The four piece gasket will need to be assembled to make a complete oil pan gasket. 5. Lay the oil pan gasket(s) onto the oil pan flange.~ 6. Ensure the oil pan gasket segment joints are properly aligned. 7. Apply a 2-mm [0.063-in] bead of Mopar Engine Sealant RTV Silicone Rubber Adhesive, to the top of the oil pan gasket.~ 8. Install the oil pan. Starting from the center and working outward, tighten the oil pan bolts to 28 N·m [21 ft. lbs.].

Flash: Powertrain System Improvements/Enhancements This bulletin involves selectively erasing and reprogramming the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) with new software. A small number of customers may experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination. Upon further investigation the technician may find one of the following DTCs has been set: U0140 - Lost Communication With Body Control Module (BCM). P0607 - ECU Internal Performance. P0456 - EVAP System Small Leak. Scan tool improved accuracy on mode 6, cylinder imbalance. ASD Relay (to improve fuel pump relay initialization at key on).A small number of customers may experience: A less than desired idle speed after performing a hard braking maneuver.

Flash: Powertrain Diagnostic And System Enhancements This bulletin involves selectively erasing and reprogramming the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) with new software. A small number of customers may experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination. Upon further investigation the Technician may find that the following Diagnostic Trouble Codes have been set: U0140 - Lost Communication With Body Control Module (BCM) (12 MY DJ only) P0300 - Multiple Cylinder Misfire.The P0300 improvement only applies to vehicles using a block heater in ambient temperatures greater than -20°F(-29°C). P2008 - Short Runner Valve (SRV) Control Circuit. P1004 - Short Runner Valve Control Performance. P2016 - Intake Manifold Runner Position Sensor Circuit Low. P2017 - Intake Manifold Runner Position Sensor Circuit High. P0456 - Evap System Small Leak(applies only to vehicles equipped with a CNG engine): Excess gasoline mode operation under normal operating conditions (switching to gasoline mode too often). Slight hesitation on initial acceleration when starting in gasoline mode. Engine speed fluctuation on first gasoline to CNG mode transition under extremely low ambient temps.Also software enhancements were made to improve transmission durability.

A customer may experience, SXM (Sirius/XM) radio has intermittent muting. This occurs in areas where XM signal is degraded and cell signal is very weak. The condition happens when the optional vehicle internet connection through the cell network is in use with the internal vehicle Wi-Fi. This Symptom/Condition Only Applies To 2014-2015 KL Vehicles: A customer may experience a popping noise when listening to AM stations.

90037042022-09-26. Service bulletin. SEATS; FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE; AIR BAGS; POWER TRAIN; BACK OVER PREVENTION; ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. Transmission Oil Pan, Heater (TMU), Tube or O-ring Applies to vehicles equipped with 8 speed transmissions only; if you have a leak that appears to be at the pan the use of proper leak detection is recommended. The fluid in the 8 speeds can be detected with a black light and there are aftermarket spray on leak detection materials to help ensure that the leak is properly diagnosed and not from another location such as cooler lines, heater tubes, or case porosity. Please note that the transmission pan gasket is available for many of the 8 speed applications FCA offers. Please review the available quick connect and transfer tube parts, as replacement of the TMU may not be required. If a TOC line connection is found to be the source, the quick connect may need replacement. If the leak source is coming from the connection of the TMU to the transmission, the transfer tube may need replacement. When parts are returned to the QEC the retaining clips (snap ring) for the quick disconnect fittings are missing. (This leaves a question as to whether the clips were missing from the assembly plant, or the technician removed them in order to make line removal easier.) Please return the clips with the transmission heater and note if they were not there to begin with. For any questions regarding transmission heater, contact FCA Redacted Content.
