2026-07-24. Structure. Issue: On certain vehicles, moisture could enter the driver-side door lock microswitch and cause it to corrode. As a result, the microswitch may fail to automatically engage the parking brake and/or the auto park feature when the door is opened. If this happens, the vehicle could roll away. Note: This problem could also cause the radio and/or interior lights to remain on after exiting the vehicle. Safety Risk: A parked vehicle that rolls away could create the risk of an injury or a crash. Corrective Actions: To reduce the safety risk, Mercedes-Benz recommends that you should always use the parking brake when you park. Mercedes-Benz will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the driver-side door lock.

2024-06-14. Electrical. Issue: On certain vehicles, a wire in the pre-fuse box may not have been tightened properly. As a result, the connection could loosen and cause a loss of power to the wheels. This could also cause the wiring to overheat. Safety Risk: A sudden loss of power to the wheels could increase the risk of a crash. Wiring that overheats can create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: Mercedes-Benz will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to tighten the connection in the pre-fuse box. The dealer will also replace any damaged parts, if necessary.
2023-12-15. Fuel System. Issue: On certain vehicles, the fuel delivery module could fail. If this happens, the engine may run rough or may not start. This could also result in a sudden loss of engine power while driving. Note: This is an expansion of Transport Canada recall 2023-353. Safety Risk: A sudden loss of engine power could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Mercedes-Benz will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the fuel delivery module.
2023-06-30. Electrical. Issue: On certain vehicles, the bolts for some 12 V and 48 V ground connections may not have been tightened properly. As a result, the wiring harness might overheat and melt. On plug-in hybrid models, this problem could also cause the electric drive system not to work. Safety Risk: Wiring that overheats and melts can create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: Mercedes-Benz will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect the ground connections, and repair them if necessary.
2023-06-30. Powertrain. Issue: On certain vehicles, the transmission wiring harness may be too short. As a result, the wiring could be damaged by contact with the front driveshaft. If this happens, there could be a loss of power to the wheels. Safety Risk: A loss of power to the wheels could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Mercedes-Benz will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect the transmission wiring harness, and re-route it if necessary.
2023-06-23. Fuel System. Issue: On certain vehicles, the fuel delivery module could fail. If this happens, the engine may run rough or may not start. This could also result in a sudden loss of engine power while driving. Safety Risk: A sudden loss of engine power could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Mercedes-Benz will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the fuel delivery module.
2022-09-09. Electrical. Issue: On certain vehicles, water could leak into the trunk causing the signal acquisition and actuation module (SAM) to short circuit. If this happens, the tail lamps may not work, the rearview camera may not work, and/or the rear seat backrests could fold on their own. Safety Risk: A short circuit could create the risk of a fire. Tail lamps that don't work could make a vehicle less visible, and cause a following driver not to recognize that the vehicle is braking or intends to turn. A rearview camera image that does not display correctly could reduce a driver's ability to see behind the vehicle while backing up. These issues could increase the risk of a crash. Additionally, a backrest that folds on its own could increase the risk of injury. Corrective Actions: Mercedes-Benz will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealership to install a cover over the signal acquisition and actuation module (SAM).
2021-12-23. Accessories. Issue: On certain vehicles equipped with the emergency calling (eCall) system, there may be a software problem with the communications module. As a result, the emergency call feature may not work properly when there is a crash or when the SOS button is pressed. Safety Risk: If the emergency call system does not work in an emergency situation, there could be a delay in response from emergency services. Corrective Actions: Mercedes-Benz will notify owners by mail and send a wireless over-the-air software update to each vehicle. If the update cannot be completed successfully, you will be notified to schedule an appointment to have the update performed by a dealer.
