20243412024-06-14. Electrical. Issue: On certain vehicles, a wire in the pre-fuse box may not have been tightened properly. As a result, the connection could loosen and cause a loss of power to the wheels. This could also cause the wiring to overheat. Safety Risk: A sudden loss of power to the wheels could increase the risk of a crash. Wiring that overheats can create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: Mercedes-Benz will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to tighten the connection in the pre-fuse box. The dealer will also replace any damaged parts, if necessary.
20233682023-06-30. Electrical. Issue: On certain vehicles, the bolts for some 12 V and 48 V ground connections may not have been tightened properly. As a result, the wiring harness might overheat and melt. On plug-in hybrid models, this problem could also cause the electric drive system not to work. Safety Risk: Wiring that overheats and melts can create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: Mercedes-Benz will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect the ground connections, and repair them if necessary.
20225102022-09-09. Electrical. Issue: On certain vehicles, water could leak into the trunk causing the signal acquisition and actuation module (SAM) to short circuit. If this happens, the tail lamps may not work, the rearview camera may not work, and/or the rear seat backrests could fold on their own. Safety Risk: A short circuit could create the risk of a fire. Tail lamps that don't work could make a vehicle less visible, and cause a following driver not to recognize that the vehicle is braking or intends to turn. A rearview camera image that does not display correctly could reduce a driver's ability to see behind the vehicle while backing up. These issues could increase the risk of a crash. Additionally, a backrest that folds on its own could increase the risk of injury. Corrective Actions: Mercedes-Benz will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealership to install a cover over the signal acquisition and actuation module (SAM).

A campaign lists a year, a make and a model, and often only some of the vehicles built. A list with nothing on it is not a clearance either. The lookups below check one VIN.
