Service bulletins for the 2025 Lincoln Navigator

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

SSM 550052026-07-14. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; STRUCTURE:BODY; UNKNOWN OR OTHER. 2025-2026 Expedition/Navigator vehicles equipped with power running boards do not deploy the running boards in auto mode when the easy entry/exit setting for "Approach Detection" is toggled on. This is a change from prior models. Currently, easy entry/exit settings in the vehicle's center display screen incorrectly indicates that power running boards will deploy during approach detection in auto mode. This will be corrected in a future Digital Experience over-the-air (OTA) update which will begin deploying in mid Q3, 2026. The Workshop Manual (WSM) and Owner's Manual have been corrected to explain proper operation of power running boards.

Some 2025-2026 Expedition/Navigator vehicles built on or before 10-Mar-2026 and equipped with power autofold exterior mirrors may exhibit concerns with the passenger mirror not automatically folding in or out at times, while the driver side mirror automatically folds properly. This may be due to the software in the driver door module (DDM) and passenger door module (PDM). To correct the condition, reprogram the DDM and PDM using the latest software level of the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS) scan tool. For claiming, use causal part 14B291 and labor operation MT14B291SSM up to 0.4 hours.

SSM 547962026-06-03. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; UNKNOWN OR OTHER. Some 2025-2026 Navigator vehicles may exhibit a no audio/sound condition with no communication with the audio digital signal processing (DSP) module and diagnostic trouble code (DTC) U0238 stored in the audio control module (ACM). This may be due to a concern with the DSP module. To determine if the DSP module is the root cause, remove the DSP module fuse from the battery junction box (battery junction box ÝBJB¨ fuse F5). Inspect the fuse for an open and ensure the fuse has proper blade contact. After one minute, reinstall the good fuse. If the concern is still present or a fuse concern is found, continue with normal diagnostics in Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 415-00 > Information and Entertainment System > General Information > Diagnosis and Testing. If communication has been re-established with the DSP module, install a new DSP module ordered from Ford Component Sales using the On-line 1878 form to correct this condition. Refer to Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 415-00 > Removal and Installation > Audio Digital Signal Processing (DSP) Module. For claiming, use causal part 18B849 and labor operations
