Service bulletins for the 2024 Lincoln Nautilus

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

TSB 24-22632024-09-02. Service bulletin. ENGINE. Some 2024 Edge and 2023 Nautilus vehicles built on 28-Aug-2023 and through 02-Apr-2024 equipped with a 2.0L EcoBoost engine may experience an illuminated malfunction indicator (MIL) with diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) P0401 or P2457. Various engine cooling system symptoms which may include an internal/external leak, white smoke from the tailpipe, and/or over-temperature warnings may also be present. This may be due to a transmission fluid heater coolant control valve restricting flow and possibly causing the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) cooler to crack. To correct the condition, follow the Service Procedure to replace the affected parts.

Some 2023-2024 Escape/Corsair, 2024 Nautilus vehicles may exhibit various AWD/4WD/4x4 warning messages displayed in the message center with loss of AWD function for the remainder of the active key cycle. DTCs C0095, C05D9:74, P060A, P060B, P060C, and/or P1674 may be stored in the AWD module. This condition may be due to the software in the AWD module.
SSM 527852024-08-16. Service bulletin. SERVICE BRAKES. Some 2024 Nautilus vehicles built on or before 13-Jun-2024 may exhibit a grunt noise from the front brakes during initial brake applications that goes away after the brakes warm up. This may be due to front brake disc stiffness. To correct this condition, replace both front brake discs with PZ1Z-1125-B.
SSM 527742024-08-16. Service bulletin. UNKNOWN OR OTHER. Some 2020-2024 Escape/Explorer, 2021-2024 F-150, 2022-2024 Maverick and 2024 Nautilus vehicles equipped with a full hybrid electric vehicle (FHEV) powertrain may exhibit a cable connection error screen from the Midtronics xRC-3363 High Voltage Battery Rescue Charger. This may be due to the software level of the Midtronics xRC-3363 High Voltage Battery Rescue Charger.
SSM 527602024-08-06. Service bulletin. UNKNOWN OR OTHER. Some 2024 Nautilus and 2025 Explorer/Aviator/Police Interceptor Utility vehicles may exhibit a symptom where the vehicle's right (passenger) exterior mirror does not come out of the folded position after the vehicle is unlocked. This may be due to a software concern within the driver's door module (DDM) and passenger's door module (PDM). If the mirror unfolds after pressing the mirror fold button in the vehicle twice, inform customers that they can continue to drive the vehicle and engineering is currently working on a solution for this condition that is expected in Q4 2024. Replacement or reprogramming of the DDM and PDM will not resolve this condition at this time.
SSM 527302024-08-06. Service bulletin. UNKNOWN OR OTHER. Some 2023-2024 F-Super Duty and 2024 F-150/Nautilus vehicles may set DTC U211B:51 in the telematics control unit (TCU) module after a software update on the TCU is performed at dealer or via over the air (OTA) Update. The DTC U211B:51 in the TCU has no effect on vehicle functionality or connectivity. Replacement or reprogramming of the TCU will not resolve this condition. DTC U211B:51 should be ignored if no other DTCs are present in the TCU and no symptoms present. No further service action is required.
SSM 527272024-08-06. Service bulletin. UNKNOWN OR OTHER. Some 2024 Ranger/Nautilus vehicles may exhibit an inoperative global opening/closing feature. Some 2024 Nautilus and 2025 Explorer/Police Interceptor Utility vehicles may exhibit a symptom where the vehicle's right (passenger) exterior mirror does not come out of the folded position after the vehicle is unlocked. This may be due to a software concern within the driver's door module (DDM) and passenger's door module (PDM)
SSM 526972024-08-05. Service bulletin. LANE DEPARTURE: BLIND SPOT DETECTION. Some 2024 Nautilus vehicles may exhibit "Blind Spot System Fault" and "Cross Traffic System Fault" displayed in the message center with diagnostic trouble code (DTC) B159C:78 stored in the side obstacle detection control module RH (SODR). If this condition occurs, follow Pinpoint Test M in section 419-04B Side and Rear Vision of the Workshop Manual. If diagnosis leads to the removal of the rear bumper cover, inspect the inside of the bumper cover for any labels near the location of the SODR that may be blocking its field view and remove if found. If no labels are found blocking the SODR, continue with normal diagnosis.
OTA SU10 P1 Nautilus2024-07-04. Over-the-air update. UNKNOWN OR OTHER. SSM 526802024-07-03. Service bulletin. UNKNOWN OR OTHER. The driver status monitor camera in some 2024 Nautilus vehicles may be positioned off-center on the top of the steering column shroud. The steering column and shrouds normally rotate back and forth due to its tilt and telescopic feature. Assure any customers who report this concern that it does not affect Blue Cruise function. If this condition occurs, do not manually twist the driver status monitor camera to center it. Telescoping the steering column out all the way out and then all the way in should center the driver status monitor camera with no repairs needed. The steering column position can then be set to the customer's preference.
SSM 526472024-07-03. Service bulletin. UNKNOWN OR OTHER. Some 2024 Nautilus vehicles equipped with Sirius XM® satellite radio may exhibit a concern where a technician is unable to clear DTC U3000:52 from the accessory protocol interface module (APIM) after replacement. This may be due to SiriusXM® software falsely reporting the SiriusXM® subscription activation status. Replacement or reprogramming of the APIM will not resolve this condition. DTC U3000:52 should be ignored if the SiriusXM® radio is operational, allowing access to the Channel 0 tile, displaying the SiriusXM Radio ID, the user can tune to the Preview Channel 1 with or without a subscription, and no other DTCs are present in the APIM or warning lights are illuminated. No further service action is required.
SSM 526302024-07-03. Service bulletin. ENGINE; UNKNOWN OR OTHER. Some 2023-2024 Escape/Corsair vehicles equipped with a 1.5L or 2.0L EcoBoost engine, 2024 Mustang vehicles equipped with a 2.3L EcoBoost engine, and 2024 Nautilus vehicles may exhibit an engine misfire condition with diagnostic trouble codes (DTC) P0301, P0302, P0303 and/or P0304 set in the powertrain control module (PCM). If the codes are stored in the PCM, remove and inspect the condition of all the spark plugs. If all spark plugs are found to be free of damage, replacement of the spark plugs is not necessary. Refer to the Workshop Manual and perform normal diagnostics. If any spark plugs appear to be damaged, use a borescope to inspect the condition of the cylinder walls. If the cylinder walls are scored/scraped/damaged, replace the long block engine assembly (6006) to resolve this condition. If the cylinder walls are not scored/scraped/damaged, replace the damaged spark plug(s) and advise the customer that engineering is investigating this issue. Monitor OASIS for additional information and schedule service appointments for customers once the repair becomes available.
