SSM 542542025-10-02. Service bulletin. FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Some 2025 Explorer/Aviator vehicles may exhibit a condition where the instrument panel cluster (IPC) displays an unexpected Watch the Road warning while using BlueCruise with no diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) stored related to the driver-assist systems. This may be due to the steering column tilt angle and/or driver seat position (height and backrest angle). Replacing components is not expected to resolve this issue. Optimize driver head position by adjusting the steering column tilt angle and driver seat position (height and backrest angle) to ensure the driver status monitor camera (DSMC) mounted on top of the steering column has a clear view of the drivers entire face from chin to forehead. Provide both Explorer and Aviator customers with a printout of the Lincoln Aviator Owners Manual page titled, Lincoln BlueCruise > How Does BlueCruise Work. The Explorer Owner's Manual is in process of being updated. If the customers symptom persists after the above adjustments have been performed, continue with normal diagnostics found in the Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 419-03B.
SSM 542332025-10-02. Service bulletin. VISIBILITY/WIPER; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; UNKNOWN OR OTHER. Some 2025 Explorer/Aviator/Police Interceptor Utility vehicles may exhibit a "Front Camera Fault Service Required" message appearing in the instrument panel cluster (IPC) with diagnostic trouble code (DTC) C1001:31 setting in the image processing module A (IPMA). This may be due to a loose or partial connection at the front windshield camera, connector C9449 on Explorer/Police Interceptor Utility and C9128 on Aviator. Check and verify this connection prior to starting Workshop Manual (WSM) Pinpoint Tests. If the connection is secure, continue with normal diagnostics.
SSM 542272025-09-23. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Some 2024-2025 Nautilus and 2025 Explorer/Aviator/Expedition/Navigator vehicles equipped with Ford/Lincoln Digital Experience may exhibit a "Map Source Not Available" message on the instrument panel cluster display (IPC) when using Google Maps via Apple CarPlay®. Google Maps does not yet support displaying the navigation map on the IPC within the Apple CarPlay® environment and this is currently the expected behavior. Replacing or reprogramming the accessory protocol interface module (APIM) will not resolve this condition and no diagnosis or repair is necessary. Inform the customer that a future Google Maps update for iPhone is anticipated to enable this functionality. This update will be delivered directly through the Google Maps app on their iPhone and will not require an over the air (OTA) software update or dealership visit.

This article supersedes TSB 25-2294 to update the vehicle lines affected. Some of the vehicles listed in the Model statement above may exhibit driver assistance feature warning messages displayed in the instrument panel cluster (IPC). Additionally, some modules may store invalid data/lost communication diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs). This may be due to software in the image processing module A (IPMA).
SSM 540902025-08-04. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Some 2021-2025 Ford and Lincoln vehicles equipped with SYNC4/Digital Experience may exhibit an unsuccessful telematics control unit module (TCU) software update or software activation during a universal serial bus (USB) update. This may be due to the vehicle connectivity setting being disabled.
TSB 25-23492025-08-04. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Some of the vehicles listed in the Model statement may exhibit a random BLIS indicator illuminated in the exterior mirror with no vehicle or objects near the vehicle. SSM 539932025-07-02. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Some 2025 Aviator/Navigator vehicles equipped with a 24 channel audio digital signal processing module (DSP) (minor feature code IDBBN) may exhibit a no audio/sound condition with no communication with the DSP. To confirm a vehicle is built with a certain minor feature code, review the build information by double-clicking the vehicle identification number (VIN) in the upper left corner in the Professional Technician System (PTS). This concern may be due to the software in the DSP. To determine if it is a software concern, remove the DSP fuse, F40 for Aviator or F5 for Navigator, and inspect the fuse for an open and make sure the fuse has proper blade contact. After one minute, reinstall the good fuse. If the concern is still present or a fuse concern is found, continue with normal Workshop Manual diagnostics, Section 415-00 Information and Entertainment System > General Information > Diagnosis and Testing. If communication has been re-established with the DSP, reprogram the DSP using the latest software level of the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS) scan tool. For claiming, use causal part 18B849
