Service bulletins for the 2017 Honda Pilot
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

Additionally, one or more of the following DTCs may also be stored: -P030X (misfire) -P219A (air-fuel ratio variation of cylinder [bank 1, rear bank]) -P219B (air-fuel ratio variation of cylinder [bank 2, front bank])" |
| A20-029 | 2020-10-21. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:SOFTWARE; POWER TRAIN. Service Bulletin - The transmission has intermittent harsh or jerky upshifts with steady acceleration. |
| A20-029 | 2020-09-04. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING; POWER TRAIN. Service Bulletin - The transmission has intermittent harsh or jerky upshifts with steady acceleration. |
| A19-004 | 2019-06-19. Service bulletin. POWER TRAIN; ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. Service Bulletin - During a downshift from 9th or 8th gear to 7th gear or lower, a miscalculation in the TCM software causes the MIL to come on with DTC P0716, input shaft [mainshaft] speed sensor [range/performance]. |
| ATS190101 | 2019-02-10. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:IGNITION; POWER TRAIN. Tech line summary article - We're getting reports of vehicles being stuck in ACCESSORY mode and unable to fully shut down. | A17-011 | 2018-04-23. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING; POWER TRAIN. Service bulletin - Some 9-speed transmission warmers were improperly manufactured and allow the engine coolant and ATF to mix. If the fluids mix, the engine and transmission may be permanently damaged and require replacement. These vehicles previously had the transmission replaced because the transmission warmers leaked. In rare cases, these vehicles may have also overheated but because the issue was under investigation, a standard repair procedure hadn?t been developed. Further action is needed before the vehicle is completely repaired. |
| ATS180309 | 2018-04-16. Service bulletin. POWER TRAIN. Tech line summary article - Loose bulkhead cover latches and strikers can cause a grinding, rattle, flutter, buzz and/or vibration from the front of the vehicle when lightly accelerating with the engine speed under 2,000 rpm. This can also happen when shifting and may be mistaken for a torque converter shudder. |
