Service bulletins for the 2019 Ford Ranger
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

| SSM 50275 | 2021-12-07. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:WIRING:POSITION/LIMIT SENSOR/SWITCH; UNKNOWN OR OTHER; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM: INSTRUMENT CLUSTER/PANEL. Some 2019-2021 Ranger vehicles may experience an uneven and/or excessive gap existing between the instrument panel (IP) topper and the center tray/upfitter switch assembly. This may be due to a lack of rigidity in the IP topper not allowing the tray/upfitter switch assembly to latch properly. The following foam block service kit (SPN: KB3Z-2104338-A) should be used to correct this condition. Follow the installation instructions included with the kit to install the foam blocks into the IP topper and repair the vehicle. |

| TSB 20-2374 | 2020-11-05. Service bulletin. TRAILER HITCHES; EQUIPMENT; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:WIRING. Some 2019-2020 Ranger vehicles may exhibit random Trailer Connected/Disconnected messages in the instrument panel cluster (IPC) message center when no trailer is connected. This may be caused by corrosion and/or moisture in C4098 (4-pin trailer tow connector), C4099(4/7 way trailer tow connector), and/or inline C405. To correct the condition, follow the Service Procedure steps to inspect and repair the wiring and reprogram the trailer module (TRM). |
