Service bulletins for the 2019 Ford Ranger

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

TSB 20-23742020-11-05. Service bulletin. TRAILER HITCHES; EQUIPMENT; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:WIRING. Some 2019-2020 Ranger vehicles may exhibit random Trailer Connected/Disconnected messages in the instrument panel cluster (IPC) message center when no trailer is connected. This may be caused by corrosion and/or moisture in C4098 (4-pin trailer tow connector), C4099(4/7 way trailer tow connector), and/or inline C405. To correct the condition, follow the Service Procedure steps to inspect and repair the wiring and reprogram the trailer module (TRM).

The summaries are NHTSA's. Each bulletin's page links NHTSA's copy of the manufacturer's document.
