Service bulletins for the 2017 Ford F-750

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

207 on file from NHTSA, as of 2026-10-19.

TSB 21-23682021-11-02. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:ENGINE:DIESEL; POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION:CONTROL MODULE:SOFTWARE; POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION:CONTROL MODULE (TCM/PCM/TECM). Some 2017 F-Super Duty vehicles equipped with a 6.7L diesel engine may exhibit an illuminated malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) with only diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) P00BD, P012F, P0181, P0474, P124C, P1247, P20EE, P205B, P2263, P2269, P2459, and/or P259F stored in the powertrain control module (PCM). This may be due to various strategies within the PCM software. To resolve this condition, update the PCM software and perform a diesel particulate filter (DPF) manual regeneration and, if necessary, a DPF parameter reset according to the Service Procedure.
SSM 490652020-09-04. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; FUEL SYSTEM, DIESEL. Some 2011-2020 F-Super Duty, 2015-2019 Transit, 2016-2021 F-650/F-750 and 2018-2020 F-150 vehicles equipped with a 6.7L, 3.2L or 3.0L engine may exhibit an illuminated MIL with diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) P207F, P20EE, P229F, P2201 and/or P24AE. This may be a result of using aftermarket cleaning liquids or tools for the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) cooler or intake. Ford does not recommend the cleaning of diesel intakes or EGR coolers using any aftermarket tool that injects a cleaning foam or liquid substance into the EGR cooler or intake. Using these types of fluids can result in sodium poisoning of the NOx and particulate matter (PM) sensors resulting in degraded operation and permanent damage to the after treatment system. Use of these cleaning tools may void the emissions warranty of the hot end after treatment exhaust system and the attached emissions sensors.
TSB 19-20822019-04-02. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING.
SSM 476412019-01-07. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:EXHAUST SYSTEM:EMISSION CONTROL:GAS RECIRCULATION VALVE (EGR VALVE); ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:EXHAUST SYSTEM:MANIFOLD/HEADER/MUFFLER/TAIL PIPE. Some 2011-2019 F-Super Duty, 2015-2019 Transit, 2016-2019 F-650/F-750 and 2018 F-150 vehicles equipped with a 6.7L, 3.2L or 3.0L engine may exhibit an illuminated MIL with diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) P207F, P20EE, P229F, P2201 and/or P24AE. This may be a result of using aftermarket cleaning liquids or tools for the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) cooler or intake. Use of these cleaning tools may void the emissions warranty of the hot end aftertreatment exhaust system and the attached emissions sensors.
TSB18-20052018-06-11. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. Some 2017 F-Super Duty vehicles equipped with a 6.7L engine and built on or before 7-Nov-2017 may exhibit an illuminated MIL with diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) P20EE, P2459, P2201, P246C and/or P2463. Follow the Service Procedure steps to correct the condition.
TSB18-20052018-05-29.
SSM 472662018-05-21. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:EXHAUST SYSTEM. Some 2016-2018 F-650/F-750 vehicles equipped with a 6.7L diesel engine may exhibit an illuminated malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) with DTC P20EE stored in the powertrain control module (PCM). When diagnosing this DTC, if pinpoint test (PPT) RD leads to Step RD27, proceed to Step RD28. This is due to PID NOx12 (NUM) incorrectly reading NOx11 (NUM) in the PCM. The NOx12 (NUM) PID will read the same as the NOx11 (NUM) PID. If the NOx Catalyst Conversion Efficiency Value PID reads less than 60% in Step RD28, replace the nitrogen oxides (NOx) sensor 12 and retest before replacing the selective catalyst reduction (SCR) catalyst. Engineering is investigating, monitor OASIS for updates.
TSB17-00542017-08-25. Service bulletin. ENGINE. Some 2017 F-Super Duty vehicles equipped with a 6.7L engine and built on or before 12-May-2017 may exhibit an illuminated MIL with diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) P20EE, P2459, P2201, P246C and/or P2463. Follow the Service Procedure steps to correct the condition.
TSB 17-00172017-03-17. Service bulletin. POWER TRAIN. SOME 2017 F-SUPER DUTY VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH A 6.7L ENGINE AND BUILT ON OR BEFORE 20-FEB-2017 MAY EXHIBIT AN ILLUMINATED MIL WITH DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (DTCS) P20EE, P2002, P2201, P246C AND/OR P2463.
