Service bulletins for the 2024 Ford F-150

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

This may be due to the supplemental braking system keeping the vehicle awake during brake applications. Advise customers that while recreational towing the vehicle with a supplemental braking system installed, it is recommended to use a 12-volt battery charger connected to a power source external to the vehicle being towed. The Owners Manual is in process of being updated with this information.
TSB 25-24482025-09-23. Service bulletin. VISIBILITY/WIPER; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. This article supersedes TSB 25-2201 to update the vehicles affected. Some of the vehicles listed in the Model statement above equipped with one-touch up/down front windows may exhibit a window not responding to one-touch controls, not opening all the way and/or bouncing back when using the one-touch close function. This may be due to an incorrectly tightened ground 104 (G104). Inspect G104 for proper connection, locating tab insertion, and tighten to 8.9 lb-ft (12 Nm). If the condition remains after tightening G104, reference the Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 303-06 outside of this article. For claiming, use causal part 12A581 and labor operations 12650D and 12650D45WR.

To confirm a vehicle is built with a certain minor feature code, review the build information by double-clicking the vehicle identification number (VIN) in the upper left corner on Professional Technician System (PTS). This may be due to software in the digital signal processing (DSP) module. To correct this condition, reprogram the DSP module to the latest software level using the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS) scan tool. For claiming, use causal part 18B849 and labor operations 12651D and 12651D4.
