Service bulletins for the 2024 Ford F-150
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.
336 on file from NHTSA, as of 2026-10-19.

| SSM 55208 | 2026-09-30. Service bulletin. UNKNOWN OR OTHER; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Some 2024-2026 F-150, 2025 Explorer/Aviator, 2025-2026 Expedition/Navigator, or 2026 F-Super Duty vehicles may exhibit diagnostic trouble code (DTC) U211B:43:48 stored in the body control module (BCM) when performing a Self-Test. This DTC sets due to an internal BCM timing issue during the self-test process. This specific code has no customer impact and does not cause any drivability concerns or warning messages. Clearing DTC U211B:43:48, reprogramming the BCM, or replacing the BCM is unlikely to prevent this DTC from setting. This DTC does not trigger a condition covered under warranty. Note: This guidance only applies to U211B with the specific failure byte 43 in status 48. Any other trusted real-time operation network (TRON) DTCs or different failure bytes associated with U211B are still applicable and technicians must follow Workshop Manual (WSM) normal diagnostics for those DTCs. |

| SSM 53759 | 2025-05-13. Service bulletin. UNKNOWN OR OTHER. After replacement of any TRON module, the gateway module (GWM) and the TRON capable modules can set diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) U211A, U211B, U211C, U3034, U3035, U3036, U35D9, U35DA and/or U35DB if the secret authentication security keys are not aligned between the modules, a loss of communication is occurring between modules and/or a module is not responding. This may be a result of missing the new module secret authentication security key obtained when running the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS) "Trusted Real-Time Operation Network (TRON) Module Authentication" procedure after replacement. When replacing a TRON capable module, run the FDRS "Trusted Real-Time Operation Network (TRON) Module Authentication" procedure in the GWM tool box, not in the toolbox of the module with the DTC's, to distribute a new set of secret authentication security keys to all TRON-capable modules. Using the specific vehicle identification number (VIN), refer to Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 418-00 and 418-01 for updated DTCs, applicable TRON module listings and pinpoint tests. |
| SSM 53638 | 2025-04-16. Service bulletin. UNKNOWN OR OTHER. After replacement of any TRON module, the gateway module (GWM) and the TRON capable modules can set diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) U211A, U211B, U211C, U3034, U3035, U3036, U35D9, U35DA and/or U35DB if the secret authentication security keys are not aligned between the modules, a loss of communication is occuring between modules and/or a module is not responding. This may be a result of missing the new module secret authentication security key obtained when running the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS) "Trusted Real-Time Operation Network (TRON) Module Authentication" procedure after replacement. When replacing a TRON capable module, run the FDRS "Trusted Real-Time Operation Network (TRON) Module Authentication" procedure to distribute a new set of secret authentication security keys to all TRON-capable modules. Using the specific VIN, refer to Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 418-00 and 418-01 for updated DTCs, applicable TRON module listings and pinpoint tests. |

Some of the vehicles listed in the Model statement above may exhibit all of the following conditions: DTC U211B:87 stored in the HCM IPC message "Advanced Lighting Features Are Temporarily Unavailable" self clears within 5 seconds Adaptive autolamp lighting features are inoperative, standard exterior lighting functions properly This may be due to an HCM communication error and the software in the HCM. |
| TSB 24-2398 | 2024-11-26. Service bulletin. UNKNOWN OR OTHER. Some 2024 F-150 non-Lightning vehicles may exhibit an IPC message "Advanced Lighting Features Are Temporarily Unavailable" and DTC U211B:87 in the HCM when a diagnostic self-test is performed. |
| SSM 52799 | 2024-09-03. Service bulletin. UNKNOWN OR OTHER. Some 2024 F-150 vehicles may exhibit diagnostic trouble code (DTC) U211B:87 in the headlamp control module (HCM) when a diagnostic self-test is performed. |
| SSM 52730 | 2024-08-06. Service bulletin. UNKNOWN OR OTHER. Some 2023-2024 F-Super Duty and 2024 F-150/Nautilus vehicles may set DTC U211B:51 in the telematics control unit (TCU) module after a software update on the TCU is performed at dealer or via over the air (OTA) Update. The DTC U211B:51 in the TCU has no effect on vehicle functionality or connectivity. Replacement or reprogramming of the TCU will not resolve this condition. DTC U211B:51 should be ignored if no other DTCs are present in the TCU and no symptoms present. No further service action is required. |
| SSM 52320 | 2024-03-20. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:ADAS:BLINDSPOT:WARNING:LAMP; AIR BAGS:SRS MALFUNCTION WARNING LAMP/LIGHT; UNKNOWN OR OTHER. Some 2024 F-150 vehicles may set diagnostic trouble code (DTC) U211B:87 in the headlamp control module (HCM) when a diagnostic self-test is performed. This may be due to a HCM communication error within a specified timeframe. DTC U211B:87 does not affect vehicle durability with no effect on vehicle operation and no additional diagnostics or service is required for this condition at this time. Inform customers that they can continue to drive the vehicle and engineering is currently working on a solution for this condition that is expected in Q2 2024. Replacement or reprogramming of the HCM will not resolve this condition. Monitor OASIS for additional information and schedule service appointments for customers once the repair becomes available. |
