Service bulletins for the 2019 Ford F-150
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

| TSB 18-2364 | 2019-03-04. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT. Some 2015-2019 F-150 vehicles may exhibit a console media bin door that will not open or is binding. This may be due to the console media bin door inertia switch being stuck in the active position. Follow the Service Procedure steps to correct the condition. |
| SSM 47663 | 2019-01-07. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:EXHAUST SYSTEM:EMISSION CONTROL:GAS RECIRCULATION VALVE (EGR VALVE). Some 2018-2019 F-150 vehicles equipped with a 3.0L diesel engine built on or before 19-Oct-2018 may exhibit an illuminated MIL with DTC P2457 stored in the powertrain control module (PCM). This may be due to missing or loose screws in exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) system bypass module. Refer to Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 303-08E. If no concerns are present with the bypass module screws, refer to the Powertrain Control/Emissions Diagnosis (PC/ED) Manual for normal diagnostics. Engineering is investigating, monitor OASIS for updates. |
| SSM 47662 | 2019-01-07. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:ENGINE:GASOLINE:TURBO/SUPERCHARGER. For 2010-2019 vehicles equipped with turbocharged engines, when diagnosing and/or replacing turbo related concerns, all steps within the Workshop Manual (WSM) procedure must be followed including replacement of all mandatory discarded parts. For all turbocharged engine applications, the turbocharger oil supply filter (6C683 gas engine/6L625 connector style or 6A968 diesel engine) must be replaced whenever the turbocharger or the turbocharger oil supply tube are replaced. Turbocharger bearing failure may occur if oil starvation occurs due to a restricted filter. |
| SSM 47638 | 2019-01-07. Service bulletin. STEERING; STEERING: STEERING WHEEL/HANDLE BAR. 2013-2019 vehicles equipped with a LKS system with customer complaints of steering wheel vibration, steering pull or vehicle drift may be due to an alert and/or steering aid input from the LKS. The LKS system detects unintentional drifting toward the outside of the lane and alerts and/or aids vehicle to stay in the lane. Be sure the customer understands how the lane departure warning feature settings work for Alert (steering wheel vibration) and Aid (steering input toward lane center). Further information on the LKS can be found in the owners manual. If the customers concern is due to the LKS functioning as intended, do not attempt to repair. |
| SSM 47486 | 2018-09-24. Service bulletin. SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC. Some 2017-2019 F-Super Duty vehicles may exhibit concerns related to brake drag. Utilize Workshop Manual (WSM) diagnostics in section 206-00 to verify the correct installation of the stoplamp switch. Improper adjustment of the stoplamp switch can cause the brake pedal assembly to lightly apply the brakes resulting in dragging condition. |
| SSM 47452 | 2018-09-24. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Some 2017-2019 F-Super Duty vehicles equipped with BLIS that have had the pickup box removed for upfitter modification may exhibit a BLIS warning message in the message center with no associated DTCs. Using the appropriate Ford scan tool at the latest level, re-configure the BLIS system to correct this concern. These settings can be found under toolbox > module programming > programmable parameters > warning lamps and chimes and must be adjusted in multiple modules. Details can be found on the truck body builder advisory service (BBAS) website, found by clicking the link at the bottom of the webpage at https://www.fleet.ford.com. Once at the BBAS website, click on bulletins, and refer to published qualified vehicle modifier (QVM) bulletin for BLIS warning programming. Changes the BLIS configuration as a result of upfitter modifications are non-warrantable. |
