Service bulletins for the 2025 Ford Expedition
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

| SSM 54230 | 2025-09-23. Service bulletin. WHEELS. Some 2025 Expedition/Navigator vehicles equipped with 24-inch wheels from the factory may experience vibrations felt at highway speeds that have been isolated to the wheel/tire assemblies. This may be due to tire flat-spotting. Dealers should refer to Pinpoint Test G located in the Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 204-04A, for help with diagnosing this condition. If Pinpoint Test results conclude that any tires require replacement, replace all four tires on the vehicle with the new factory tire design. The new factory tire design can be identified as Goodyear part number 102224387 / Department of Transportation (DOT) alphanumeric code 1M69B JA3R (this can be found on the tire's sidewall). The previous version of the factory Goodyear tire (DOT 1M69B JA2R) must not be used. Claim actual diagnostic time for steps performed to identify root cause using Pinpoint Test G and labor operation code MT102224SSM. For claiming replacement of all four tires (if required), use labor operation code 1007AD. |

This may be due to a lack of buffer material between the moulding(s) and the door surface. Inform the customer that Ford is aware of the concern and engineering is currently working on a solution for this condition that is expected to be announced by 30-Nov-2025. This concern does not affect vehicle durability and the customer can continue to drive the vehicle. Monitor Professional Technician System (PTS) for additional information and schedule a service appointment for the customer once the repair becomes available. |

Some 2025 Expedition/Navigator vehicles equipped with one-touch up/down front windows may exhibit a window not responding to one-touch controls, does not open all the way and/or bounces back when using the one-touch close function. This may be due to a calibration parameter in the driver door module (DDM) and/or passenger door module (PDM). To correct the condition, reprogram the DDM and PDM using the latest software level of the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS) scan tool. If the symptom remains, refer to WSM, Section 501-11 for normal diagnostics outside of this article. For claiming, use causal part number 14B291 and labor operations 12651D and 12651D4 of the Service Labor Times Standard (SLTS) Manual. |

Some 2025 Expedition/Navigator vehicles may experience a whistle/humming noise while driving in hot climates and at speeds above 60 mph (96 km/h). This noise can originate from the right side of the instrument panel when the air conditioning (A/C) system is ON, recirculation mode ON, and the noise intensity may increase as the blower speed is increased. Inform the customers Ford is aware of the concern and engineering is currently working on a solution for this condition that is expected to be published by 30-Sep-2025. This concern does not affect vehicle durability and customers can continue to drive the vehicle. Monitor Professional Technician System (PTS) for additional information and schedule a service appointment for customers once the repair becomes available. |

This may be due to an internal fuel leak of the fuel injection pump causing fuel to enter the crankcase and reduce fuel pressure in the high pressure fuel rail. Diagnose this condition using Pinpoint Test HP located in the Workshop Manual, Section 303-04A. If no DTCs are stored in the PCM, proceed from Step HP1 to Step HP5 and continue testing. For claiming, if fuel injection pump replacement is required, use causal part number 9D376 and labor operation code 9543A. If the root cause is identified as anything other than the fuel injection pump, claim the repair outside of this article. Note: Components damaged as a result of this failure mode |

Inspect G101 for proper connection and tighten to 106 lb.in (12 Nm). If condition remains after tightening G101, continue with normal diagnostics. Refer to Workshop Manual, Section 303-06 Starting System. For claiming, use causal part 14290 and labor operation 11000A in Section 10 of the Service Labor Time Standards (SLTS) Manual. |

| SSM 53960 | 2025-06-24. Service bulletin. WHEELS. Some 2025 Expedition/Navigator vehicles equipped with 24 inch wheels from the factory may experience vibrations felt at freeway speeds that have been isolated to the wheel/tire assemblies. This may be due to tire flat spotting. Dealers should refer to the all-new Pinpoint Test G located in the Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 204-04A, for help with diagnosing this condition. The currently available original equipment tire design has not changed. If flat spot occurrences continue after tire replacement, inform customers that driving the vehicle more frequently and minimizing the duration of time the vehicle remains stationary/parked will help to reduce flat spot occurrences. Returning vehicles with flat spot concerns must be diagnosed and repaired using Pinpoint Test G (referenced above). Engineering is investigating with the tire supplier and expects updates to be available in Q4 2025. Monitor Professional Technician System (PTS) for updates. |
