SSM 551002026-09-01. Service bulletin. For Various Ford and Lincoln vehicles, if diagnostics lead to the replacement of the front seat cushion cover J-clips, lower-level service parts are now available. Use service part W709919-S901 if the J-clip is completely detached from the seat cover and W715386-S424 if the clip is still partially attached. It is not necessary to replace the seat cover if only the J-clip is separating from the cover. Refer to PTS Home > Technical Assistance > Technical Support Videos > Section 501- Body and Paint > Seat J-Clips. For claiming, use causal parts from list below and labor operations 63100A and 63100A5. TSB 26-21862026-04-28. Service bulletin. This bulletin supersedes 26-2146. Reason for update: to add a labor operation for replacing two brackets. Some of the vehicles listed in the Model statement above may exhibit a condition where the plastic trim around the universal serial bus (USB)-C ports on the first-row seat back is loose. This may be due to the USB-C bracket.
TSB 26-21472026-04-28. Service bulletin. Some of the vehicles listed in the Model statement above may exhibit a no crank/no start condition with a discharged battery in cold weather conditions (below 32°F Ý0°C¨). Once this condition occurs, the battery draw will remain constant every time the ignition is turned off. This may be due to the power fold seat module (PFSM) (also referred to as the seat control module J ÝSCMJ¨) software keeping the controller area network (CAN) bus awake.
SSM 547112026-04-10. Service bulletin. Some 2025-2026 Expedition/Navigator vehicles may experience a second row armrest pin that is loose or broken. Engineering is aware of this condition and is investigating a service solution that will enhance the strength of the arm rest support structure and prevent recurring failures. This solution is expected to be available by the end of Q2 2026. If the customer is not willing to wait for the enhanced service solution, replacement of the seat frame is acceptable. Note that service replacement seat frames will have similar performance attributes for the arm rest support structure as the original seat frame that is being replaced. Should the customer choose to wait for the enhanced service solution that includes a strengthened arm rest support, schedule an appointment with the customer when the repair is made available in Q2 2026. Monitor Professional Technician System (PTS) for updates.
SSM 546132026-03-04. Service bulletin. Some 2025-2026 Expedition/Navigator vehicles may exhibit misalignment of the 3rd row power folding seats when in the full upright position after performing a reset for an obstruction event. This may be due to the software in the power fold seat module (PFSM). This module may also be referenced as the seat control module J (SCMJ). Inform customers that engineering is currently working on a solution for this condition that is expected in Q4 2026. If a vehicle comes in for this condition, instruct the customer that resetting the 3rd row power folding seats a second time will correct the condition. Monitor Professional Technician System (PTS) for additional information and schedule service appointments for customers once the repair becomes available.<br /><br /> The 3rd row power seat reset is performed with the following relearn procedure:<br /> 1. Start the vehicle and open the liftgate/tailgate.<br /> 2. Remove all items from the 2nd and 3rd row seats including any obstructions that can prevent from folding/unfolding.<br /> 3. SSM 543552025-11-12. Service bulletin. Some 2025 Expedition/Navigator vehicles may exhibit a symptom where the 2nd row seat does not return to the latched position after a power easy entry function is performed. This may be due to the 2nd row seat losing its learned position or the floor latches accidentally cinching while the seat is in easy entry position.<br /><br /> To correct the condition on Navigator vehicles equipped with second row multi-contour seats (minor feature code BYBAL) pull the manual pull strap located on the lower portion of the seat back and allow the seat to pitch up into the easy-entry position. Then, press the return pitch button located on the side of the seat backrest. If normal power easy entry operation is not restored, manually force the seat into the fully down and cinched position. To confirm a vehicle is built with minor feature code BYBAL, review the build information by double-clicking the vehicle identification number (VIN) in the upper left corner in the Professional Technician System (PTS).<br /><br /> To correct the condition for Expedition/Navigator vehicles not equipped with 2nd row multi-contour sea

SSM 539552025-06-24. Service bulletin. Some 2025 Expedition/Navigator vehicles equipped with 3rd row power seats may experience an inoperative power fold condition when a seat control switch button is pressed (3L, Center or 3R). This condition may be caused by an obstruction detected during a prior power fold event, triggering a protective lockout. 3rd row seat power fold function may be restored with the following relearn procedure: 1. Start the vehicle and open the tailgate. 2. Remove all items from the 2nd and 3rd row seats including any obstructions that can prevent from folding/unfolding. 3. Slide the 2nd row seats forward. 4. Press and hold the center 3rd power fold seat control button (located between 3L and 3R) for 1 minute. The seats will begin to move. 5. Continue holding the center button for an additional 5 seconds after the seats have stopped moving. 6. Press the 3L and 3R buttons independently to verify that the seats are folding properly. If the inoperative condition remains, continue with normal diagnostics in Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 501-10C. The Owner's Manual and WSM have been updated with this revised procedure.
